Good service, customer service average, could be better. Food and drinks were good.

Staff was wonderful, certainly the manager Manolya beautiful customer services. Amelia the black what a wonderful customer service always have a smile on her face. We did have a little issued between starter and the meal as we did mention specifically we want starter fisrt when we are ready we let them know for the meal, but when Amelia want to reassure if we are Okay with her politeness and good manners we calm down. You need more staff like her, Your staff mentioned between starter and meal, restaurant gave us only 15mins in between. If we don't finish bad luck the meal will be on the table and cold. I even mentioned the food will be cold, unfortunately her respond she don't care is our problem. If your staff carry on like that, as there are so many restaurants around nowadays customer will not come to you. We have been coming in your restaurant for years since Hussain was there, he was a wonderful manager as well. It'll take me a while to visit you again.

Worst service I’ve ever had!! The food was absolutely disgusting, the meat was off and smelled awful and I got the manger to come and eat herself and she was disgusted by her own food and spat out the food. Would never recommend it to anyone as this place doesn’t even deserve a 1 star rating

Absolutely fantastic. From the start to finish, service is polite, fast and friendly. The packaging is well thought, keeping the food very hot. As for the food itself, well seasoned and cooked to perfection served with excellent rice and a side pot of sumac and sauce. Huge portion sizes and well worth the price. Highly recommended. 30 minutes ticketed free parking available on the main road parking bays or free parking after 5pm

I have tried many Iranian restaurants in Croydon and London and I should say Abshar restaurant is the best restaurant in Croydon and one of the best in Greater London. The food quality is exceptional with very reasonable price. I noticed there was a hand sanitizer on every table to use after touching the menu or whenever it was needed. The service was brilliant and the staffs were very attentive.Very good experience and definitely come back for a nice dining out.

Great food, poor service.Been here twice and thought we'd return as the iffy service may have just been due to an off day.Returning, it's such a shame they fail on the basics - moving the starter plates when main courses arrive, main courses arriving 5 minutes apart, no new cutlery etc. Shame

Food was ok but the service has been a big let down on the last 2 visits.Although we were 1 of 3 groups of two in the restaurant, our starters were very late and our mains were served before the starters. We were offered complimentary bread as an apology but this was never provided. Despite this, we were still expected to pay a service charge.The visit prior, the restaurant was fully packed, taking half an hour to be seen and another hour and a half for food. A power cut occurred in the middle of service and had to eat in the dark.

If u want a nice Middle Eastern meal in South Croydon use CRYSTAL it is far better food and far better service. This place has a real problem, the lady (says she’s the manager) is rude. Ordered Deliveroo and phoned up to make sure that sauce was provided. (when the 30 plus pound meal arrived) what can only be described as 2 tiny sauce pots one with garlic and one with chilli was in the package. Phoned up and was rudely told this is all that is allowed…. And only one tiny pot per meal. Obviously she could have told me on my initial phone call. Kebab with no sauce??? To add insult to injury the lamb kebab Momtaz was cold and the meat was tough!! The chicken however was hot… clearly the kitchen timing was off and one meal had been left waiting for the other!! CRYSTAL OFFERS FAR BETTER….

Ordered 3 Koobideh with rice for take away.The quality was absolutely awful. The koobideh was so stiff, burnt and UNEATABLE.I wonder if any meat (mince) was used or perhaps it was soya meat! No smell of Kebab at all.Spent £40 but had to throw it away.NOT RECOMMENDED

Absolutely fantastic meal. The food was incredible, really tender meat and tasty stews and really generous portion sizes. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back here again and strongly recommended.
