Went for a party nice size venue haven't tried the catering part of things so can't comment.

Very poor service when it comes surfing customers at the bar. I personally think they need to be trained on how to deal with customers when it gets busy. I was standing at the bar for 20min minutes and no came to me at all. Second problem was there is No Air conditioning. You can not hold a function knowing that there is no air conditioning. That definitely has to get fixed before they have a never function. Train your bar staff and get air conditioning. Other then those two things its ok.

Perfect place to be when you want to have fun and hear great music. Fantastic staff with welcoming smiles and attitude.Love here like cooked food. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Public Transport connections Buses 468 and 60 last stop turn left on St George's Walk and Tram nearby.Alchemy has a relaxed comfortable atmosphere, staff were attentive throughout our party 🍾🥂 music was great, entertainer was Mystic Messenger did a showcase of course we joined in 😆Debbie served at the bar, was polite, and informative about menu and drinks, Chantell and DJ Stylee played great reggae music 💃💃 My guest requested Rare Groove tunes and we all had so much laughter. Best Jamaican food was delicious, waiting was not in vain, curry goat, jerk chicken, sticky chicken, breaded prawns, rice an peas and vegetarian stew peas food served hot and freshly prepared.The hospitality attentive and music was cool.Alchemy a Relaxed and Easy place to be.NB: The Graffiti shop shutters next door a great back drop for our fun quirky birthday photographs .thank.you

The food here is really good, fresh, flavour amazing. Service was excellent too. I’ll eat here again for sure 🤩🤩Brown stew chicken, rice and peas, veg and dumplings 🤩🤪🤤

Certain 1 star reviewers don't know taste. I love Alchemy, they know how to cook, hence the five stars. the customer service is good, but most importantly they can relate to peoples needs, in terms of taste. the staff at alchemy are willing to make your dining experience worth while, and the food is affordable. i recommend this restaurant to anyone. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. Good selection of drinks and pool table made for a great time had by everyone that came. The food is cooked to perfection and I was blown away by the sticky chicken! The menu can be ordered from as a main meal or we order different dishes to enjoy like a tapas style. Would recommend to everyone!

I have been here for lunch several times and this place always has the feel of an empty nightclub at lunchtime!! However at £7 a head including a soft drink it is well worth a visit. The food is buffet style and the containers are quite small, so the food is always hot. Good selection of Jamaican food, plus some fresh fruit for dessert. All the staff make you feel very welcome and they encourage you to keep eating!!
