Bao Bao London in Croydon

Picked up a bubble tea - matcha tapioca. Quick service. Friendly staff.Plastic straws which make the bubbles easier to drink. Not enough bubbles in my drink compared to other places. Great taste, I would visit again.They also serve food, small seating area inside.

Lovely place to sit down and get some food! Pretty decently priced, the food came as expected and the service was really quick. The bao and bubble tea also tasted great :)

Takeaway and small informal dine in restaurant. Seems to have really authentic food. Good service, everything seemed to be cooked to order. Pork and lamb bao were the highlights

Found a fly in my bubble tea. I returned to the shop and they changed it but I definitely won’t be returning.In response to the owner’s response, the fly was clearly distinguishable by its wings and legs. I suggest you not only tighten up your hygiene standards but also aim to be less dishonest with your future customers.

Had the amazing chicken and chive dumplings with Sichuan chili oil. Also the Taiwanese fried chicken and calamari were well fried and seasoned. My friend got the fried chicken bao which was huge and flavourful.Got a large fruit tea for £4.45 which is a great steal and you get a free topping which is bang for your buck. Will definitely be back to try the mains.Update: Came back again and got a large bubble tea of the day for £3.85. Loved it.Got the fish cake Bao which was a bit disappointing as the filling was very little. I’d say the fried chicken bao is better in terms of size and the fillings.

Absolutely love the wide variety of authentic Taiwanese food options here. I got the chicken rice and Taiwanese sausages - both tasted great. Good portion sizes and efficient service. Looking forward to trying other dishes from here!

I’ve only got bubble tea from here and they have great selection. Decent pricing. Amazing taste. Go to on my commute home. Can’t really go wrong with this place! Im yet to find anywhere else in croydon that matches this!

The food is very tasty and they offer vegan options. I usually order the tofu Bao or the mushroom Bao. They are the best I've tried. The sweet potato fries are good as well. My usual go to as a vegan. Oh and the bubble tea gives you that playfulness. I do get a sugar high from it,tho. So keep in mind the sweetness if your into wellness. The staff is Chinese so it makes it more genuine. At the moment they don't have eat in but the restaurant is very lovely and cozy. At the moment they're doing take away and Deliveroo. Take away was ready in about 10min.on top of everything it is pretty economic. You can always order and sit in Box Park. Box Park has outdoor sitting area too.

Bao Bao, is situated on one of the exterior units of box park Croydon. I've never had a bubble tea before so I asked the staff how it works, you choose your base flavour, I choose banana then you choose the bubbles flavour I choose strewberry, you then choose how sweet you want the drink and if want ice.The drink is milky and enjoyable, I liked it but I don't think it would suit everyone's taste but it's worth a try.
