I went in here today to give it a try.I was pleasantly surprised the staff member who dealt with us Gill was amazing 👏 such a lovely buddy woman.She interacted with my 7 year old son and made him feel specialThe food was good 👍 the only thing being the steak was undercooked.All round a very pleasant experience 😊

This is the type of place that you can sit at the bar and have a friendly chat with the lovely staff, come with some mates to play darts or pool and chill…. A really homely vibe, with some good events going on! Really good prices, nice atmosphere, what more can you want in a local pub! Underrated in my opinion…. Thanks to all the staff, you make it such a welcoming place!! You feel like you’re in an out of croydon pub

I have been drinking here for a few weeks and it has a really friendly atmosphere and great kareoke on Saturdays. The main thing though is that the manager Zoe came outside (we had not even been in here that night) and helped my friend who had a seizure outside. She provided first aid and truly really helped us when we were in need. Can not thank her enough.

Best pub I have been to in a long time. Zoe was absolutely perfect and onnie was great too. Would definitely recommend. Great food! Great prices! Great company!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was cold, peas hard, and just the look of this meal when put in front of me was a joke. Yes it was returned. Then given back in a different plate :) NO I will not return.

visited market tavern this evening quiet but an absolutely great atmosphere, everyone was so friendly, service was quick an exceptional. Katy served me for the evening with a smile, would definitely return. Security staff were really nice, management is obviously very professional.

Sunday roast was super tasty and great value for money. Efficient, friendly service also.Great 80's tunes creating an uplifting atmosphere. Will be back.

A great evening out… something for everyone!! Saturday night karaoke with a great crowd. Amazing service, flirty banter and some funny moments!! Ask for Zoe. She’ll give you a pint with a smile and a laugh

What a good experience we just had. The food was excellent, the prices were fair and the portions of the dishes were plentiful. The staff is extremely friendly and the overall atmosphere of the place homely and warm.

Large venue indeed the staff were pleasant and polite . The interior is quite old fashioned but quite cosy. Yes comfortable and a nice atmosphere. I was surprised how empty it was but full stars.
