Cafe Giardino in Croydon

Went for lunch with my Daughter. Good choice of food and a nice clean friendly place.

Went for a quick lunch with hubby. We like it here but our one complaint is that we ha e to buy side salad separately. We had lasagne and chicken escalope, we too wondered why we didn’t have a small complimentary salad on the side instead we had to to pay an additional price for a portion of salad, this really bumped the price up. In other establishments we would have a garnish of crisps and a small salad. Also the Pellegrini cans are £2.50 each yet we can pay £1 elsewhere. We really like it here but the thought of paying for each item is too much. I’m sure we aren’t the only people to make this observation. We actually took the rest of our coleslaw home with us as it was too costly not to eat it. Please we hope you will review things if not for our sake but I’m sure for others too.

I've been in Bromley Giardino before where a milanese was served with salad . However in Croydon I've been served only a sandwich in a poor plate presentation . I've also asked a late.So all together was £12.10 which in my opinion is super overpriced.I guess it's not about Giardino chain instead about love for what you do . Which in this case they don't have in Croydon.

We have been here before and had a good experience. Me and my wife saw our kitten for the first time before we brought him on video call at this place, so it's a good memory for us. We thought we will return here to have a meal, they have alot of options so we were just checking the menu, the guy there asked how can I help, we asked for a minute to see the menu. Litteraly a minute after that he asks us "are you going to get something or no?" in a disrespectful tone of voice. My wife just asked me to leave, so I did. I don't know what this was, if this was if he thought we were wasting time or if he just had a bad day. Customer service comes first and we come there to have a good time, your attitude towards us ruined the time we were having. We probably get better customer service at McDonald's.You can see we are looking at the menu give us time to order? We asked for time so give us time? No need to pressure us into ordering quickly.

The food was ok but there was a piece of plastic in our Lasagna.

It's great place and clean, I have panini and it's was delicious, staff very friendly, e recommend this place,

Lovely breakfast and good customer service. One thing I very much respect is they leave you to eat in peace and work on your laptop with the free wi-fi. Family run business.

A very nice well filled sandwich but not the one I ordered I was given prawn and ocean sticks instead of crayfish and avocado. I didn't complain as didn't want to waste food as knew it would then have to be thrown away and at least it was still fish but I did miss the avocado.

Lovely staff, had a delicious cheese and ham tosty with banana milkshake! All sandwiches are made right in front of you, so all fresh. Would highly recommend!!

The branch of Cafe Giardino at Centrale is quite big. There is a sitting area inside the cafe as well as the outside seats in the middle of the shopping centre but that area closes in the afternoon. I liked the selections of fillings and bread selection.
