Chennai Dosa in Croydon

A great place to enjoy south Indian cuisine, especially dosa. It is spacious and well laid out tables, with comfortable chairs and has a good atmosphere. The staff are friendly and patient. The starters and main dishes were all very well presented and were very tasty. They were happy to give us extra samber and chutneys. The restaurant was very busy midweek, which shows its popularity. Parking in the evenings isn't a problem as there are plenty of spaces around the local area.

The London road Chennai restaurant was shut ,hence we 15 + decided to HV our birthday party here, yesterday.There ,were many other customers seated on their tables and all seemingly enjoying their food ,happily.That,was a positive point.We,placed our countless order of drinks and starters .Amazingly,we were served with huge smiles rapidly.Our, food orders were taken in meticulously and again served in a chain fashion all so well presented,too.Nice,hot and really clean.No,order was too small .We,were very happy that our nephew,his partner,niece and husband had chosen this very efficient,clean restaurant that went over and above to serve us 15+ customers with the most delicious food in a record time with ever so smiling staff.We,shall be becoming back soon. We,all came from far away distant places of residence,and honestly enjoyed every minute in Chennai Dosa,Croydon.WWe,would like to thank the ever so efficient staff who kept us so so happy and brought enormous pleasure to so many.🤗

Fantastic little chain of a restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are very kind, attentive and happy. After a long time we enjoyed being at a place where the balance of quality, cost and service was just right. My little one loved kids dosa and the lamb chops were great too. Will be back again soon.

Great food, good service, and reasonable cost. Never had ghee masala dosa ever as I had here....its amazing and other food as well.

Note, we had a takeaway, and not a sit down. Nevertheless it was great service and great food. The place has a good ambience, however they have only recently acquired this from another business, so I think they are still working on the interior which is a little dated in parts, however they have made some good work where they have. Watching other patrons I can see the food is well presented and seems to be served fairly prompt for the time of day. There is a large hall above to hold private events.

My 1st visit to this damned place, probably my last. Never waited for a dosa for this long. 7.30pm until 8.59pm. Tasteless food, nothing called customer service, wasted evening. Should’ve read reviews before I went. Avoid if you don’t want time and money down the drain!! Previously owned Fuchsia food was much better. 😕😕

Super slow service. This cuisine is usually considered fast food, but our dinner took 2 hrs with individual dishes arriving whenever the chef or the server felt like.Dosas were also cold.Will not go again.

Went their coz I was craving for Gobi manchurian and paneer Tikka both were pretty good in taste as well as quantity. We ordered Channa bhatura, ghee rava masala dosa and podi masala Dosa. Everything tasted delicious except potato masala. Quantity and taste was worth the money.
