Coombe Lodge in Croydon

Food is over priced and poor quality which is a shame as it is a nice pub. Food obviously put in microwave and no quality control. I think the management/staff need a shake up. Poor quality food.I had a simple lunch order that was served up like slop and cold! Looked like someone had thrown up!Anthony on the other hand is amazing !! Love him! (Bar staff).

Very reasonable price . The food is good or standard. I like the chicken rings not in butter which is more tasty. Only mistake is a waitress she over charge me . But I ask another waitress to help.

Great food & friendly staff. Service was fast & the place is clean. Staff are very helpfull too. Great place to come for a big family meal. We came for Mother's Day & had a great time with a good selection of food & drinks. The table given to us was in a good area & the place is well lit up. Allround a good experience. 👍😁🍹💥

Meal was enjoyable my daughter had mixed grill.I had chicken cheese and bacon and chips. but our waitress disappeared after the main meal was served ,we were lucky we had the time to spare before our transport came.Nice drinks large glasses orange squash and coke.The another wait for the unfortunately during our meal we were surprised by a loud banging noise .We observed two men putting up cables for some reason.why couldn't they do this when the place is empty? This went on for approximately an hour.Dont think I will return.

I cannot fault the staff, they were all so friendly and and accommodating. However, the food wasn't amazing. One of us had been there before and really enjoyed the food so maybe we went on an off day! Also the tables were quite sticky

The standard of food for the price is pathetic! £13.29 for the pic attached. The chips, weren't cooked, no bbq sauce as stated on the menu, overall a very greasy dish. Not helped by the chefs choice of music, blaring out from the open kitchen. Would not recommend at all, service ok, the waitress gave me a reduction on the bill. Avoid!

Nice interior for a family meet up. Shame yet again this particular restaurant chain across the UK are struggling to provide a full menu due to food shortages......

The food is poor considering how expensive it is. The Coombe Lodge beefeater are disgraceful for charging the amount they do for the food they provide . The sticky barbecue ribs are £16.99 and came out cold and most obviously microwaved . All the food here is clearly microwaved and yet still managed to be lukewarm at best , there is no thought or effort put into the food. The ribeye which costs £19.29 which is an average price for that cut of meat was once again cold . The roast dinner was also cold. The food itself wasn’t disgusting but it was clear that you could buy this from Tesco’s and heat it up yourself . I’ve been a few times before but will not be coming back.

Pretty poor to be honest. The floor around us was filthy. The plasters falling off the wall! Our main meals was missing food - (Corn on the cob). And ordered beer battered onion rings and got some cheap breaded Iceland specials! We won’t be back!Avoid this place! See pics..

Coombe Lodge, a very nice place with lovely staff and food. The outdoor seating arrangement is quite nice but beware of some of the insects during the height of summer. It also has an excellent hotel and a very rich history. Good for the family, parties, stag and hen nights or to watch the game. Definitely recommend.
