Summary: We wouldn’t go back at all and sadly, would not recommend.Food ordered:Starters:Chicken Popcorn (2/5) Nice but tasted like KFCSalt & Pepper Squid (4/5) It looked like sweet and sour chicken but it was tasty.French Fries (1/5) Tasted like chips with freezer burnMains:The Buff Burger (3/5) A nice basic burger, reminded me of a burger from a van.Grilled King Prawn Skewers: (0/5) Awful, so underwhelming given the title. They definitely did not use King Prawns and it definitely was not restaurant quality in terms of presentation or flavour - even for a diner. This was quite bland and supposedly took over an hour to prepare. They need to go to Billingsgate & invest in some actual King Prawns.Sides: (These actually came with our Starters & we waited so long for Mains that we’d finished by then)Return of the Mac (5/5) The Man N Cheese was really tasty, and a nice portion size too.Plantain: (5/5) Good portion size, nice and juicy.French Fries: (1/5) Still tasted like chips with freezer burn.Drinks:Pushing Pina (5/5)Orange JuicePros: we were running late, when I called to move the booking it was done without an issue. The lady on the phone even explained that they had a booking of 45 people and the kitchen was very busy so moving our booking later would work out well because the kitchen would be less busy by the time we arrived.- The starters and sides came out quickly with out drinks- The salt and pepper squid was the nicest starter we tried, it looked like sweet and sour chicken but it was tasty.- The Manager was polite, efficient and had really good customer service skills.- We’d cancelled the order due to the wait time but the manager reinstated it and gave us complimentary take away boxes.Cons:- We had a booking but the waitress that greeted us looked confused as to what to do or where to seat us.- The place lacked ambience and the music playing was notably terrible.- Even after moving our booking to a time that worked better around the booking of 45 people, the mains took over an hour to arrive. We saw four people that walked in after us get 4 burgers whilst we waited an hour for just one.- we had to get back by a certain time so we cancelled the order due to the wait time and discrepancies on how long it would take from different waitresses.- Other than the manager, the staff we saw seemed miserable. Maybe a team visit to another restaurant could give them an insight into the customer service they should aim to deliver and also raise morale.

We had a fresh waffle and a Belgium waffle. They were really sweet, actually a bit too sweet as I'm not so used to that much sugar... I gave 4 stars because I was told they can't offer us tap water, but everyone around us do get offered water. No idea whether that was because we only came for waffles not for main courses, but technically I don't see that as a reason (given the sweetness as well). Also waitresses seems really occupied and tired on a Sunday afternoon and wasn't too attentive. Would still revisit but appreciate some improvements.

We came to celebrate my sons drum concert so wanted to take him somewhere nice. Its really unfortunate because it has so much potential but the service was really poor. It was a quiet Sunday with hardly anyone in the restaurant so I couldn't understand why everything was taking so long. The communication with the staff was confusing. Being told something wasnt in stock then it was. Waiting almost 2 hrs for meals. By the time I got my meal my whole table had finished their meals and desert. When asked what the issue was, I was told the salmon is fresh. When someone else had steak. Salmon is the easiest and quickest thing to cook. Ordered a drink and could just see it sat on the counter waiting, i was so tempted to go get it myself at this poiny. I asked for it to be bagged up. When I got home it was so dry. So disappointed. Another lady across from our table also sat and watched her friend eat and finish her meal. I rarely leave reviews but after speaking to 3 friends who have had similar experiences I felt the need because how else will they improve. There was only one waitress running around like a headless chicken and some staff just sat down so I am not sure what was going on. Its just a real shame. I personally wouldn't go back.

I wish I took a picture of the food I went here yesterday and the food was phenomenal. I actually haven't been here before so decided to give it a try the decor and atmosphere is really nice the music isn't too loud you can still have great conversation and enjoy drinks. Super reasonable prices and good size food. The service was also great thumbs up....

No salt and pepper on chips, wings had flavour they was nice in a cone with BBQ sauce. The waffle was good but all over the place, bun would be better come on guys. The `DJ and shop was well worth a visit.

Wow, We came down today and what a great experience it was. It’s such a shame to read all these bad reviews when we didn’t experience any of this at all.First of the drinks are amazing and so pretty to look at. Such a good variety.We had an amazing young lady looking after us called Zoe and when I tell you it was a 5 star experience from start to finish. She was exceptional. There was nothing she couldn’t do for us, she was chatty and knew her stuff when coming to recommendations on the food. She checked in on us and was efficient and the food came quickly.She couldn’t do enough. She made our time at the restaurant worth while. You definitely need more Zoe’s at the crepes and cones!The food was also great the pepper steak and red velvet prawns are 10/10! Well done to the chef.Such a shame to read all the bad things, but we will be coming back that’s for sure!Thank you for accommodating us.. we’ll be back soon.

Walked in & not greeted for a few minutes even though there were plenty staff in & around bar area.We was shown to seating area and told to pick any seat as restaurant was quite empty. Food was ordered & as customers we were talking amongst ourselves about the drinks menu, the waiter took down what i mentioned in my conversation as my order & we was given an extra drink..due to the confusion and it was taken off the bill in end, nicely dealt with.Too many of the staff were just hanging round the bar area talking & joking, which is great they get on, but just seemed a bit unprofessional especially as no one was at the door greeting & seating guests.Our waiter was nice, his service was efficient & attentive.Starters were great, served quickly & lots of flavour. Mains not so great, the salmon wasn’t cooked completely all the way through & didn’t taste like jerk seasoning.Overall was a okay experience.IF the food was 10/10 I would of gone back regardless of service, or even if service was great & food was awful i would go back and try again.Unfortunately neither was the great.I don’t think I would recommend or go back.

Visited here after they reopened and I have to say we really enjoyed it. The food was great, customer service was excellent (sorry I didn’t take the waitresses name) and they were very fast and efficient. I think they have really turned around from before and I will definitely be visiting here again - well done guys!

Came here yesterday food was good.The red velvet prawns was amazing!I do miss how the wings use to be, and the crumble looked more like a cake more than a proper crumble I hope they can get the crumble back to how they use to have it.Except from that they provided a good service

Been wanting to eat here for ages and finally had the chance recently.The wait for the food was a bit long but it was sooo worth it!!!The service, atmosphere, everything was great. There was a manager (think she's called Sarah) who really took the time to ensure we had a good experience, she gave me excellent customer service and I'm already thinking about the next time I visit, seriously craving that apple crumble and custard 😍
