Lovely pub, they had a deal on which meant prosecco was 12 quid, amazing! Food is nothing special but not terrible either. Good drinks selection. Nice interiors and garden

Was taken here for a birthday celebration. What a huge disappointment !!Food really not very good ! Had bacon , chicken and avocado salad, but there was no bacon so I had to ask for it to be grilled and added. There were no sauces offered until I asked. Asked for balsamic vinegar and was offered Sarsons malt.My friends pie was hard and dry .First two wines we asked for were not available .Could not really go wrong with Scampi and chips .Staff need training on greeting , listening and not being on their phones.Live locally but will not return or recommend .There are better pubs in the area but thought I would give you a try !It was well staffed for such poor service

What an amazing afternoon at The Crown. Our servers name was Lucy and she was absolutely fabulous. She was helpful when ordering food and was very polite and friendly. We felt we were important to her as she didn’t rush us yet her service was fast. She definitely made us decide that we would return.

We had our little girls 1st birthday here. We had a wonderful day. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. Special thanks to Dario and the team at Crown for all their help in making our day a memorable one!

Excellent place for small celebrations, we had a baby shower and it was fantastic! Big thank you to the manager and staff for the effort in putting on the catering. Well worth enquiring if you want a intimate place to celebrate. We definitely will be using this venue again in the future.

What a delight. A superb low cost good quality meal. Fantastic service from an exceptional young lady and her colleague yesterday Monday 10th January 2022, and of course the kitchen staff. Thanks . Our group of 11 had the best time since lock down!!!

Myself and my boyfriend and his parents came here for Christmas Day lunch. Have to say the service and food were brilliant. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and were so attentive and welcoming. The food was great too, I would 100% recommend this lovely pub and can’t wait to return!

Lovely local pub with fantastic friendly service. Recommend the Sunday lunch and the desserts! Has a very nice outside area round the back and free parking although you must register reg for the latter.

Very lovely pub. We came early on Friday night and it has lovely interior decor and big outdoor space in back, with tables decently spread out. The prices were moderate, and though slightly slow to get the food the flavour was excellent. Will definitely be returning.

I haven't been to the Crown in a while, the place has been refurbished since I last went. It looks lovely.I had the vegetarian breakfast (photo shows 2 mushrooms only because my friend didn't want theirs). It was tasty apart from the vegetarian sausages, they were hard at the ends and very dry throughout. Definitely one of my least favourite veggie sausages.Toast looked like it walked past the toaster instead of in to it (I love almost cremated toast) but was advised they don't have a toaster. They did their best to make well toasted toast (it was crunchy outside and soft and fluffy in the middle)I will say the toast tasted very good and had the taste of freshly baked bread, even if it didn't have the visual effects of how I like my toast.Would go back for coffee and other meals. Not for vegetarian sausage based meals 👍🏼
