Galicia in Croydon

I've been coming to this Spanish restaurant on and off for over 16 years and it never ever disappoint. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food tastes beautiful, one of the best I've been too. My fav dish is the octopus 🙂

We had a lovely evening at Galicia. The food was delicious and the tapas portions were very good so we left with full bellies! We were in a group of 12 and were catered for brilliantly. The sangria and Rioja were flowing and we had great service all night. Perfect evening - we will definitely be back soon!

My first time and loved it. Plenty of food and excellent service. Book ahead to be sure of a table. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Definitely will visit again.

Some of the food is great, other bits are just average (the chunks of chicken in the paella are the cheapest cuts possible), service is incredibly slow when they're busy, especially for drinks (20-30 mins between order and receiving the glass)Some of the tapas items are absolutely incredible, but it's almost hit & miss on what you orderJust don't go in expecting a quick bite

We went there on double date and ordered quite a bit of food.Everything that we ordered was untasty, langustines were expecially bad.Sangria was decent but you couldn't feel the alcohol in it.Finally the waiters were really rude to the point that we didn't felt welcomed there at all.Unpleasant experience...

The food was amazing when it arrived. It took over an hour for them to take our order. We had young children with us and 3 hrs was just too long for them. We had to cancel the children's ice creams cause they didn't bring them with the other desserts. Poor service

Such fantastic service, the waiters went out of their way to make us welcome. Tasty tapas and great value for money. A little touch of Spain in south croy.

Fantastic lunch time deal. 2 tapas and a drink for 12 quid! You can't go wrong and the portions are very generous too. The waiter was very attentive without being intrusive. I loved it !

A buzzing restaurant that made me feel like I'd been transported back to Barcelona! There was a really nice atmosphere which felt fun, lively and energetic... The food was really nice, simple and not overly fancy. Just like it would be in spain

Love, love, love this place. The restaurant is very clean and the decor 👌. The food excellent and prepared very well the presentation is wonderful and the staff bend over backwards for you. Worth a visit you will not regret it. I given them 5*
