It was my first time visiting Mi Cocina and it was a great experience. It has a relaxed atmosphere and quite a big menu. The food was very tasty and was cooked from fresh. It is very cosy in there and I will definitely be visiting again.

My oven got broken at last minute and no pan de jamón in sight. Started browsing in Google Maps and this place came up. I sent an email and immediately reply for a next day pan de jamón. No disappointed...so tasty and delicious.

We bought hallacas and empanadas and they were delicious! The ponche crema was exceptional as well. Alexis, the owner, was super friendly and helpful. We'll definitely come back!

Great place! Staff was super friendly, food was deliciousThey have gluten free options and really double check with the kitchen when not sure, so very reassuring for me (Coeliac)Will definitely go back to try more dishes!Ps they also got you cover if you are in a mood for a fancy drink (alcoholic or not)

Very nice place, simple and cosy. On a Saturday morning, in we went for a quick and quiet bite. It was neither. Service was friendly but beyond slow. The few tables were full of unruly kids (or silly parents?). The empanada was dripping with oil. We left still rather hungry after paying £14 each and after the most painful wait to pay. The card machine wouldn't work so out to get cash (not a hint of "coffee on us" or anything like this). I won't go back.

Amazing food and a great atmosphere. My Latin girlfriend loved it and felt very at home. The cafe has a lovely community spirit and you're made to feel very welcome. The food is incredible and I wish my stomach had twice the capacity so I could try everything on the menu. Looking forward to going back and will definitely make it a regular place.

I haven't been able to stop by since last year but this is my all-time favorite restaurant in the London area and probably anywhere! I stumbled across this place in 2017 –it was my first time trying Venezuelan food and I've been obsessed ever since. The family is great and I have always enjoyed every meal here.I recommend the arepas of course, especially the one with beef and cheese. The empanadas are all amazing, as are the sauces on the side. I normally make my own meal with empanadas and a side of black beans. The torta de tres leches is my favorite dessert ever!!I'm not exaggerating when I say that I plan trips from California to London just to stop at this restaurant :)

For those in the know... This family run Venezuelan restaurant may not be flashy, but the food is prepared in the traditional style, and is delicious. We had the pork arepa and black bean, cheese, & plantain cachapa, with some empanadas to start. Priced a bit high for the area, but there's 2 for 1 with tastecard. I'd go again!

If feels like being in a private Venezuelan kitchen. Hearty food, perfect-sized portions, the owner, pregnant in October, advising on what's best for you according to your likings and hunger not trying to sell you the most expensive dish. All of that makes you believe that you are actually in her house, waiting for her to show off her mother country cuisine. Food is slow-cooked, no added sugars, the plantain is delicious so is the wet corn wrap in the pic below (with 3 kinds of meat in it). I will go again and try some other dishes. Venezuelan cuisine is different from the European one and this place makes you want to come back to experience more.
