Papa John's Pizza in Croydon

I don't usually give 1 star reviews to any food place where the food is great but I am shocked that it has taken an hr to get my food delivered. I called after the app stated it was delivered and the person on the phone said the pizza is still in the shop and it will take 5 minutes. This has happened multiple time. Someone really should look into why this is happening.

Been waiting nearly an hour. Tracking app says delivered so called up to find out what's going on - no answer. 3 attempts later finally get through to be told the pizza was still there 🤷‍♂️When the pizza did arrive it was missing the extra dips we ordered. Called again to sort out but unable to send any!The pizza itself wasn't bad in fairness, just not quite the stress-free experience you want when ordering takeaway.Also why on 🌎 do they provide that raw garlic dip every time without an opt out option..

Went on a slow day, so my pizza turned out good. The vegan cheese was yummy, but a bit pricey.

Worst experience at Pappa Johns in my life. I order from this chain near my house all the time with really quick delivery times. Waiting right now over 1 hour and they are not answering their phones. The website shoes enjoy your pizza message and it is Ramadan but now very hungry with nothing to eat.

Waiting times are always over an hour. Used to be prompt and hot but last few orders have been disappointing. The app always says order delivered when they are yet to be delivered.This will be my last ever order with papa johns

I don't even know why I bothered.Ordered 2 pizzas, came in a hour which wasn't too bad. But upon arrival, 1 pizza had a seal that was broken. Skeptical to eat but we live life on the edge... it was cold eitherway and pretty underwhelming. After calling several times, I had no luck and gave up.I probably won't be ordering from here again

Zero stars if I could. Terrible service! No answer on phones called many times and this was at non peak times, and they took over 1.5 hour for a pizza. Only ordered from here as the usual papa john I go to does not deliver to my house. Sort out staffing issues or at least someone bother picking up the phone please. Wont be using this store again!

It is a shame that you can’t give a zero. Honestly the worst pizza I have ever had. That might be because it was stone cold. Once it left the store it took 30 minutes to deliver even though it’s only 5 minutes away. The special garlic sauce is just a tub of butter. I think the store expects complaints, so they don’t bother answering the phone.

I ordered bbq base meat feast and to be honest I didn’t enjoy it much. It arrived cold and it didn’t taste as fresh as it usually does. I was quite disappointed. I normally really enjoy ordering from papa johns. I have to say delivery always takes so long. You will be starving and the delivery will be taking over an hour to get to you. It would be helpful if there was a tracker so that you can see how long driver will take or even just to know their whereabouts and also the process of how long the order will take to be ready.

Awful experience. I waited 1 hour and 25 mins for delivery on a Sunday night, the driver turned up with his girlfriend in the car and all he said to me was “pizza” I think they ate most of my potato wedges on the way, there was a hair in them and the food was cold. I will never be ordering from this store again
