Pizza Express in Croydon

Don't really enjoy staff arguing whilst you are dining. The service was very very slow, to be fair the pizza was ok. Prefer Domino's but that's personal choice.

Served quickly and food was as expected. Staff were all friendly and did not mind that we were not big spenders and chatted a long time after eating. It was not busy in the restaurant. Really helpful in terms of how to use the app to get free dough balls. Plan to go back for another chat, and pizza, soon

Bad food and bad packaging.Today I had ordered smoky bbq chicken pizza with lemon and herb chicken wings . The pizza was not fully cooked , vegetables were moving within the pizza and the sauce was dripping while cutting the pizza. Opening the box itself shows pizza was moved to the corner with all the cheese and chicken stocked to the edge of the box. Very bad experience and won’t recommend to anyone

Rude greeting - a "telling off" that we should have booked when the restaurant was 1/2 empty and they had plenty of space. Coloured lumps in garlic butter. Mains arrived very late. One pizza order wrong and when new one arrived it was uncooked - a raw egg on top. All mains were underwhelming and tasteless. Fudge cake was so cold, it was practically frozen. Worst pizza express I've ever been in.

Wasn't expecting much, hadn't been to a Pizza Express in years & thought it would be pretty basic stuff but was pleasantly surprised. Food was very good, restaurant was pleasant & service was great.Their pizzas have really stepped up from what I remember before & their desserts were good too.

My best friend and I make this pizza express our once a month catch up meeting spot. The staff are amazing and the food is always delicious. I've never been in the evening but daytime service and crowd is very nice .

I am a regular customer here with my family staff cannot do enough for us they always acknowledge us when we come in, the food is so nice! I really can't fault the place the Manager Yolanda is always run off her feet! , she's so lovely .. she also makes effort to greet us and is always happy to see us..By far the best Pizza Express I never have any issues here food is always delicious.

Every time u order, get delivery at right time. Great customer service n pizza is always delicious.

What a reassuringly wonderful experience! It was busy there, but the custom and attention was so inclusively welcoming, and the service; organised and very fast. I had a trainee assisting with my choices, but one would never have known (she acquitted herself admirably). The manager also had the time to engage and was extremely friendly and welcoming. I observed from my corner table by the window the attentiveness they paid to ALL their patrons. Now THIS is the kind of inclusive Pizza Express I know, and love. So if ever you're in South London and looking for a wonderful place to dine on your night out, it's a thumbs up and a favourable finger point to this wonderful outlet of Pizza Express 👍👍🏾☺️ (keep it up George Street). I wish I had instead been at this outlet yesterday 17 September (it would have been the perfect Friday evening experience).
