Ponte Nuovo in Croydon

Been here before in 2018 for a friend's birthday. The food was lovely. I had Salmon and the sauce used was truly amazing, fish was cooked from fresh.Visited again April 2022 but this time for my own birthday which was very lovely. Compliments to the chef, food was lovely, we had some special request for some dishes which was well done. Excellent service. We had a private room that fit 10 people which was nice. I got my cake from costco which they brought out for me and sang me happy birthday. 😊 5 star deserved!

Come here for delicious, fresh food, friendly and attentive staff and a great atmosphere. As it was a large booking (13 of us, unlucky for some!), we were given a separate room. It had windows all round though, so it was easy to get someone's attention when we needed more wine.Everyone enjoyed their food. They were good about some of our gluten free and vegan needs, adapting meals we asked for to suit our needs.Would definitely recommend.

Omg this is my new favourite Italian restaurant!I’ve walked past this restaurant a 1000 times but randomly decided to have my bday here. The cocktails are nothing short of amazing (taste + presentation), the food is delicious, the service is 5 star, the ambience is really nice and the location is amazing.The average price of a main course dish is around £15 so not too bad at all.All in all, highly recommend 👏👏👏

This was my first visit to this establishment. I went for afternoon cocktails and I can say the Pina colada was one of the best I've ever had. The bartender was friendly and personable. I'll definitely be going back. For parking locations, there are few all about 5 minutes walk. I parked at Wandle Road Surface Car Park, £2.30 for an hour paid via pay machine or RingoGo app.

We were there for a 30th Birthday meal, and we had a great evening. The staff were all very nice and helpful, and even though they were busy they served reasonably fast and ensured all food and drinks were served in the groups they were ordered.The staff sung Happy Birthday, and were very friendly throughout the night and the Head Waiter was a joy to deal with and very welcoming and accommodating.I'd highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning in the future.

Searching for places to eat in the local area and this Italian place popped up. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite.The Lamb shank and Rabbit meat are great!!The Panna Cotta may be the best dessert I’ve ever had in a while! Just annoyed I had to share it.

We booked the restaurant very last minute, came in less than 2 hours later and the staff were nothing short of amazing all night long. The decor is lovely and warm which makes it so inviting and the food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back again!

This is a lovely traditional Italian restaurant with delicious food and excellent staff. Well worth a visit.I went here on a Friday night and it was busy but the service was still great. Their pasta is very good, maybe a bit expensive, but the restaurant was full so what do know!The waiting staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive, without being overbearing. I probably would have given this restaurant 4 stars, but they get 5 for the staff!They also have a good vegan menu, which is the main reason we went. The vegan pasta was excellent but I would recommend avoiding the vegan prawns!

Excellent food. Exceptional service. Already planning my next visit. Celebrated my birthday with my young son who loved the staff so much, he asked if he could work there with them! Linguine Marinare, Calamari Fritti and Pesto & Spaghetti all delicious. Profiteroles and espresso was my icing on the cake. Mo & Giovanni and the rest of staff are wonderful.
