"WE ARE NOW OPEN FOR TAKEAWAY ORDERS 1) We will be washing our hands at least every 30 minutes and providing sanitiser for our staff 2) We will be providing our staff with additional protective equipment 3) We will be deep cleaning our cafe before opening and every day thereafter, we will be cleaning surfaces and equipment even more regularly than before 4) We will be checking the temperature of our staff everyday with contactless thermometers 5) As we open our cafe on Wednesday, we will have fewer people working on each shift to provide a safer environment and help our teams adhere to social distancing 6) We will look in to reduced hours and serving a reduced menu suitable for take away until we’re back up and running fully"

Really happy with the service, quality of food and pricing at this cafe, highly recommend a visit. Staff were very attentive and the food arrived promptly after ordering, tasted absolutely amazing too!

Had to wait for a table for 3. Few tables had been reserved, so worth doing if you're thing of going between 12-2pm. Food and service was good as always. Maybe not for anyone with noise sensory issues, as lots of machine noise.

Lovely breakfast at reasonable prices. It's very popular and does get busy at times and it opens early at 8:00am.

Working in the morning can be stressful until we have a Shirley Cafe Cumberland sausage sandwich 🥪 with onions to go..fresh hot & very tasty 😋 destress & enjoyable. Ps the boss on 1st bite melts into his chair with easy .Many Thanks Shirley Cafe 🙌🏾

Had lunch with my wife , we got there early but by the time left the Cafè was becoming very busy. I had gammon, egg and chips and the wife had halloumi Salad both meals very tasty and value for money.

We went in for a cup of tea then also ordered poached eggs on toast for G. and porridge for me. Both arrived quickly hot and well cooked. The staff were friendly which I also really liked.

I had a snotty egg which immediately put me off my food. The place is clean, but the egg wasn't cooked. I refrained myself from informing them because the cafe was fairly busy, so paid and left. The cappuccino with oatmilk was great
