The Builders Arms in Croydon

Booked a table, which was reserved for us. Bar staff welcoming and showed us to our table. Had drinks, even tried the cocktails, which we found perfect! Lovely home cooked pizzas too. Thanks

That was exactly what I had expected from a London pub, first timer, hopefully I'll have a chance to visit again!

Friendly service and staff members, delicious pizzas (both meaty and veggie options), great music and atmosphere! The toilets were clean and seemed recently refurbished - it even had fresh flowers, which was a lovely touch. The pub also had a good selection of board games, which was a nice surprise. Great Friday evening - we were impressed and will be back! :)

Really nice, much improved. Good selection of drinks, two pints cost over £10s, these are London prices in Croydon, bit rich for me. But nice pub all the same.

Friendly staff (and pub dog), well-kept London Pride and excellent home-made pizza. This would be a great place to have a pint and a bite to eat while watching football on the big screens.

Good beer iffi food. Shame owners dogs running around all over the place.

So good to go to an old fashioned pub - great pizza and a lively mix of people - please don't change too much 😊

Great pub with good beer. Really welcoming to a bunch of Morris teams for a wintry dance out. Locals are friendly too.

Hidden gem, with good ales, in an area I wouldn't associate with pubs like The Builders and The Oval Tavern. Worth the trip for both excellent venues. Hopefully, they bring each other business and create an "ale trail" in the area. The Builders had excellent Hophead on, a friendly welcome and I was even able to watch rugby league. I would definitely return if in the area.

Such an amazing Pub. They allowed me to keep my precious (bike) at the back side which gave me a peace of mind while I spent time with my friend. The beef burger with fries was delicious and the ambience was fantastic!
