The Dutchie Restaurant & Cocktail Bar in Croydon

Very disappointed, I ordered two strawberry smoothies and only received one. The garden salad was advertised on the menu to include avocado, there was no avocado. Absolutely poor.

Great food. Lovely place. Good music. Interesting cocktails... and buy one get 2 offer on the cocktails was an extra incentive.

Food is nice but that’s the only redeeming quality. Service is very slow and they have somebody working at the Thornton Heath branch managing orders that refuses to apply *sense*. You can order a snack that is already made and just needs to be put in a bag and he will have you waiting an hour. Bare in mind your waiting in the shop Makes no sense and he will do nothing to factor in common sense about what is ordered and how long it would take to prepare considering it is not a meal. It’s not the first time I’ve ordered from there but that was the last straw. Plus it’s overpriced anyway

I came here for a friend’s birthday dinner. The prices are great and the 241 cocktails are too. The waiters are friendly and had great customer service, anything we needed they would help with. However, I did have an issue with who I assume is the manager of the branch. She wasn’t the friendliest and would huff/ puff and kiss her teeth at my friend and other women who were using the toilets which is obviously very bad customer service as myself and the other ladies felt uncomfortable considering we had only been in the toilets for 5 minutes at this point and one of the ladies was disabled. This did affect my experience and means I won’t be going back there for lunch or a drink. Hopefully the manager can see this review and work on that so it doesn’t happen again.

Cons: Our waiter was rude, she forgot to order my cocktails, when I was ordering I asked if the burger was spicy which she stated it wasn't, which it was, music was ridiculously loud so we couldn't have a proper conversation for a restaurant, food came at different stages ? Some had their food in 30 mins, others in an hour, I had mine after 1 hour and 30 minutes, throughout my time at the place I had different insects fly to me, overall experience was terrible. Pros: food was decent although if you aren't into spicy food then I would advise not going to this place.

I have been here many time the food here really nice not to mention their 241 cocktail that they do everyday. The staff are really friendly. I do prefer this one compared to the one in Camberwell. Definitely come here

241 cocktails were lush, so cheap for so much alcohol! Very happy group of people loving the drinks and food! Particularly loved the hurricane gilbert and pina colada, oxtail was also delicious as was the rice and peas and mac and cheese. Goat was yummy4*s as service was pretty slow and there was barely any waiting staff. Thenagain I know were all struggling in the pandemic!

Commendable customer service, delicious food, and 241 cocktails all day everyday 🙌 all waiters were incredibly attentive, the service of food was swift and the food itself was nothing short of great. Would definitely return.
