The Fox in Croydon

Disco brunch at Mr Fox was awesome. Had the best date day here, would also be big fun with a group of friends! Music, food and cocktails all on point and the staff are big fun, friendly and personable! Highly recommend, it's a little hidden gem in Croydon🤩will definitely be back!

What a fantastic place. The whole experience was lovely from start to finish. We went as a group and were accommodated on a moments notice. The Hostess took all our orders and we recieved excatly what was asked for. The food was excellent as Im not a fan of mussels (part of my dish) they were put in a bowl and offered to our party. Mr Fox also does a great choice of cocktails. I would totally recommend a visit, you wont be disappointed. Great value for money.

This place is an absolute gem! We discovered it accidentally as we were looking for a dog friendly restaurant. Food was amazing - both in terms of flavour/originality and presentation. Staff were all fantastic, in particular Iva who looked after us. Truly impressed, we are definitely coming back!

Love it here. Been a couple of times and the cocktails are amazing! Food is pretty good too - mind you, I’ve only tried the Sunday roast so far and apart from the fact they’d run out of cauliflower cheese and the chicken was a little pale for my preference, it was all actually very very tasty & I will definitely be going back for more. Staff great, decor/vibe, also great. There’s nothing to not like.

Phenomenal food. Potentially the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. All of the food was exceptional. All of the staff were attentive, polite, friendly and provided an amazing experience. Couldn’t have been happier with our night and experience at Mr Fox. Thank you so much!

Feel mean giving this review, but really don’t understand how the ratings are so high. The service is fab, the setting is lovely, but the food is bad. Edible yes, tasty and fresh? Afraid not. We went for a Sunday roast, the Yorkshire’s were like crisps, and the roast potatoes were like rocks- looking at other diners plates, it was obvious we weren’t the only ones who felt this way. Maybe it’s because we don’t live in Croydon so have no comparison to other local restaurants, but we can say with certain- we would never ever go back.

Visited last night after wanting to try this place for ages and we were not disappointed. Lovey venue with very friendly staff, amazing cocktails and the food was outstanding too. Would highly recommend the seared duck breast.

Service and food were impeccable.Eva and Rachael took care of us and honestly even if you tried you couldn’t fault them!Eva’s recommendations were so good especially for the cocktails, tried something I never thought I would like and I actually loved it!
