Haven't been for a few years but pleasantly surprised at how much it has improved (I believe under new management). Delicious food and wonderful service.

Really nice place after an Easter Monday walk we were stuck for somewhere local to go out to eat, we then remembered Wood Grill and we hadn't tried it out.Well it didn't disappoint the staff were friendly and the food was really good a must visit if you are in the area.

Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, nice and relaxing background music, excellent food, I had meat several times and asked to be cooked the way I wanted and it was spot on. Very delicious, I tried several dishes around 7 different and they were all super delicious. I visited 4 times in a week of my stay in Royston during my motorcycle training.

Had a fantastic meal at this restaurant bar. Staff were friendly and attentive, the manager was very hands on. Great atmosphere, great venue food was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Food was amazing and the staff was amazing, very friendly and really on the ball, my only downside was, I'm 6"4 and I had to swap tables and two chairs due to my size which resulted in one of the chairs breaking, but despite this the staff was very caring and understanding

This is a lovely pub/resturant. Very quiet when we visited for a drink, but it was a Tuesday at 2pm. Although we did not eat, I have heard very good reports about the food. Same parking at the front and I bet it would be a different animal in the evenings.

First time visiting the Wood Grill and was very impressed not only by the service but the quality of the food. The ambience was very nice, subtle music whilst enjoying a lovely evening. We will definitely recommend and are sure to come back for another visit.

The restaurant deco is modern, chics with warm ambience. The service is attentive, polite, not rushing you to leave. The food in my opinion is just average. We give 3 stars overall because service is good but food is slightly let down.We had scallop for starter, Salmon and BBQ chicken for main course. Scallop was sweet, fresh and tender. It would have been perfect had the seasoning less salty. Salmon was ok but needed more pesto sauce to balance the dish. The sauce almost dried out. Chicken was the most disappointed. I expected to have free range but the chicken tasted like a standard chicken fromsuper market.
