Lovely meal at a great price! Would highly recommend!

My cousin ordered a meal that she did not like. She asked to change her meal due to the texture which the manager agreed to. The manager then told me (once I asked for the bill) that next time, she would not be taking off the meal that my cousin didn’t like because there was nothing wrong with it. This is extremely poor service. As a paying customer, I do not expect to be told that there is nothing wrong with something I don’t like. The manager then proceeded to say “if this was a supermarket, would you return something you don’t like?” I was completely gobsmacked. Firstly, this is not a supermarket, it’s a restaurant in which you are providing me with a service & secondly, yes, I will return something I don’t like in a supermarket, that’s what receipts are for ..I do not recommend this place, my experience was horrible. The manager made myself and my cousin extremely uncomfortable due to an error that was no fault of mine nor my cousin’s. No one should be made to feel less than due to a dislike & that is exactly how she made my cousin feel.DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!

A jewel in Croydon for Italian food. Stumbled across the restaurant feeling hungry at lunch time. The pasta was exceptional and the service was friendly and warm. I will definitely be visiting The Fratelli again in future.

Good food, but if turn to the authentic Italian taste will be better. Needs modernization. Really good dessert. Amazing service and very clean!

Highlight of our visit were desserts. The staff were lovely, helpful and attentive.Otherwise such a miss for an Italian restaurant in such a good location. The restaurant is tired, missing an atmosphere, from pick-a-mix decor on magnolia walls to music which was a mixture of a Mediterranean disco to Brazilian club.We came for a family dinner. The food wasn't too bad flavor-wise, though the chef could go to a few competitors to see how novadays food is served and level up on quality of basic Italian ingredients (tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil, bread!). I was served an unappealing slop (veal in mushroom and creme sauce), my BFs lamb's been swimming in a pond of gravy and our son's pizza looked and tasted like the cheap frozen ones. The portions were massive, and although the prices are reasonable, it was an overkill for the poor quality. Unlikely coming again.

Always been my favourite restaurant. Very generous portions and varied menu. Excellent service and friendly staff. Went there yesterday and it is still as wonderful as ever. The restaurants in South End are really up against it with the curfew but we still need to support our local eateries. We got round the bubble issue by sitting at different tables.
