Curry laksa is so delicious, I can't try other dishes even though I've eating here almost every time I go to Croydon for Zara.My friend had wan tan po-sorry can't remember the name properly which is wide noodle seafood noodle soup with gravy on top and she loved it.One day I love to have a Hinan chicken which only served during the weekend. But not sure when I can stop eating their amazing laksa!

Authentic Malaysian canteen style food based inside the whitgift centre directly above the main entrance on the first floor.Decor was simple and reminded me of a Malaysian canteen.Friendly service and although food took a while (we were told there would be a bit of a wait as it was busy) the food was worth the wait.We ordered the curry laksa and the wat dan hor (fried flat rice noodles with seafood layered with a creamy egg gravy on top. Will definitely be back to order the other dishes.

Amazing hidden gem tucked in away in Croydon. The best place in south London for Malaysian food. Dishes such as mai goreng and nasi lemak are served here. Along with my personal favourite of teh tarik tea.

My fiance and I came to this place for the first time last week and ate the Nasi Lamak. It was spicy & deep with flavor. Absolutely love the food and came back for more today! Absolute gem! And inexpensive for generous portions!

Great little Malaysian restaurant for dine in, take out or delivery. Our favourite dishes are the char kuey teow noodles (with or without chilli), curry laksa and their hainanese chicken rice (weekly special). We also often have the Malaysian teh terik tea drink too (hot it cold).

We travelled over an hour to get to Uncle Lims because its that amazing. The trip was well worth it and we will be back again. We got the vegetable curry laksha to eat in and got the seafood nasi goreng, prawn rendang and seafood char kuey teow to take away. All the food was amazing. We loved the curry laksha and its some of the best laksha we have ever had. Each dish was flavorful, authentic Malaysian good food. We also had the cassava dessert which also had coconut in it and it was delicious and a good snack for the road home. Sarah was lovely and very attentive and made us feel very welcome.

Ok it was the afternoon it was empty but the food was top notch as always…this has got to Croydon’s best kept secret upstairs in the Whitgift Centre the same side as Clark’s shoes

From a Malaysian palate the laksa and har mee (prawn noodles) are seriously good. Decent laksa can be found in London, but har mee is much rarer. Look at the colour of the stock! So deliciously flavoured with a good amount of chilli, I drank the whole lot.Laksa uses rice noodles, and my preference would be for a combination of egg and rice, but that's just me. I'm sure they would do it upon request.
