Wing Yip in Croydon

Large superstore with all your Asian grocery items from dry goods to frozen items and fresh fruit and vegetable as well as the fresh seafood and butcher counter and Joss offerings for your ancestors.Prices are very reasonable compared to inflated prices in central London.Plenty of parking space here too and located just next to a bus stop or a short stroll to waddon station.There is also an excellent Chinese restaurant located on the same premises serving delicious dim sum and Chinese dishes. My go to Chinese supermarket

You will get everything Chinese here including live crabs and lobsters (pricey though). Canadian lobsters £37 per kg. If you like big king prawns you have to go there at 10am. Salespersons at the till are rude

I love this store. The workers are helpful, and there are lots of Asian products there, primarily oriental. However, sometimes the store has an off putting smell. I will say it has happened around 15% of times I have been there. Otherwise no complaints.

great selection of products..even live crab and Lobster! Nice fresh fish and woks to cook in All you need under one roof! Great free parking for shoppers too.

They was good but after cutting many people out the services let me feel unhappy and dislike. Some price on the shelf are completely different with the system price when receipt out, do not trust them you need to check yourself otherwise you may pay more for nothing. Also the customer service on the phone are very poor too, however very disappointed and will not go shop in this branch any more.

Wing Yip is the most welcoming, the cleanest and most hygienic of ALL the chinese super store. I promise you won’t be disappointed at all. They have a good variety of products, reasonably priced. They also have a toilet facility in store. The customer service is good. I buy so much stuff from them. They have the best king prawns. Fresh Chinese products too. Fresh noodles. The restaurant in the shopping area is also very good. Excellent parking facility. Highly recommend A*

Big place, they have restaurants and bakery outside. But price isn’t that low as compared to other Asian supermarkets but reasonable.

An old favourite of mine however recently been refurbished and the standards seem to have slipped a bit. Fresh fish counter no longer has live lobster or crab, no oysters or razor clams. Meet counter did not look fresh either. Frozen section low on several items however what we did get was amazing. Hoping this is all related to supply chain issues and that they step it up again. Will check back in the new year.

Wing Yip is a great place to shop for a wide range of products including frozen prawns, frozen squid, little moon ice cream, vegetables fresh and frozen, ground and whole spicies, curry mixes and Chinese products. The store has a large public car park and is conveniently located on the Purley Way.

Its ok but I feel like they have less varieties on items then before they refurbished the supermarket. Definitely more spacious and cleaner but oddly too empty for my taste."More space but less stocks in store.. "Also in Wing Yip centre right next to this supermarket, there is only a bakery, 1 restaurant opposite it which I do like going to but beyond that there is a chinese medicine store and a few random businesses which I'm not sure about. This Centre used to be filled with many interesting things and shops but has now downgraded to not much.
