Zafran in Croydon

My wife and I have been here a couple of times and have not been disappointed. Great service and food and some interesting dishes from the sub continent. I think I spotted a Persian dish and one having venison. Two reasons to revisit methinks.

Lovely food, good service and very reasonably priced

Food good but staff seem flustered, a power cut didn't help but delivero taking preference over restaurant customers, near riot from one table who waited over an hour for 1st course. I think it's new owners, they need to step up to the mark.

Amazing little place tucked away off lower Addiscombe Road Dexided4have birthday celebration here and was so lovely. Polite staff, food hot to the table. Really helpful staff went above and beyond to ensure eveing was great. Food was amazing as well, so very tasty. Could eat all again today. Been here few times and never disappointed. Thank you we will all be back 😊😊😊😊

Friendly staff and atmosphere. Made to feel welcome from the minute we walked in. The food is excellent and cost is reasonable. A must place to visit if you want a relaxing enjoyable meal.

Had not been herevforv18 months so thought we would go tonight Saturday 18th september, ordered drinks mine a cobra my wifes a white wine lemonade spritzer which was as flat as could be, when querying it with staff we were promptly told they use tinned lemonade which goes flat when mixed with the wine, rubbish my wife has this whenever we go out, never had a flat one untill tonight, ordered starters & main, waited for 20 minutes for starters but nice when it arrived, waited a further 45 minutes for mains but nice when it arrived all be it we had almost finished the mains before the naans came out, we sent them straight back and told them to deduct them from the bill.Whilst we waited for the mains I ordered a Doombar and was served a Cobra.Absolutely diabolical service, this place has gone down completely, would never go there again.

Superb food. The lamb farcar was amazing as was the sag panir. Prawn purée starter spot on, spicing just right. House red wine very quaffable. Go there as service welcoming and on point.

Today we found a very excellent Indian restaurant. The staff are attentive and very polite. The food is superb and I had a main course of tandoori chicken which I can honestly say was the best dish I have ever had in an Indian restaurant. So I check out the toilets just before leaving and they were absolutely amazingly clean in fact spotless. We must all support these restaurant at this time!. Use them or lose them. The entire meal for 2 including 4 large cobra beers was under £48 !. Amazing value for such a superb eatery!. I will be back every week 100%...

First of all, I want to start off by saying how great the service is! The people are incredibly friendly and easy to talk to if needed anything. Food is also never late which is honestly the best thing. Not to mention how great the food is! The food ticks off all the boxes and Is spectacular (honestly the best Indian food I’ve tried in my life). Both eating in and ordering online gave me the same experience. Will definitely be looking forward to ordering again. So happy!
