A friend recommended this place to me and decided to try it out!- food was absolutely amazing-customer service at its finest 10/10-my kids loved the carpet areas a lot5 Stars! Will definitely come to Karwan Restaurant again! Thank you!

Food was great I had mixed grill both chicken and lamb was tasty came with extremely large naan bread also tasty. Also had Kabuli Kharai - rice, lentils with beans and a large lamb shank in middle under the rice. The lamb shank was cooked perfectly. Overall very nice - large portion size, prices was slightly above average for Southall but reflected in portion size. Improvements would be needed in decor - its very dated including toilets, although seating area was clean, service was average for a restaurant in Southall. Nice aspects was carpeted floor seating (as traditional Afgans/Asians would), also a plastic walk way with fish underneath was nice.

The food is very delicious, but one thing I didn’t like was that staff didn’t use tray while bringing the glasses, she brought all holding with hands from the top the glasses where we drink. That was not acceptable. Rest everything was just amazing.

Dined in this restaurant thrice on different occasions just because the food is sumptuous and the ambience reminds us the Majlis dining of Qatar. Stewards are truly hospitable and very honest. My phone 📱 was left out, in such a crowded place, they took the responsibility instantly. Perfect 💖 for Ladies day out, total privacy, there is prayer Mat tooI am just sad because of Fish pondaquarium or gold carp pond is not good decor, it displays cruelty to voiceless fishesThey need Rivers and Ocean's to swim, they are not for our entertainment, hence they should be released soon

Came on xmas day for daughter's birthday. The place was very busy! Parking isn't easy around here but managed to find a space on a side road. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It is a family friendly environment. The downstairs area has mixed seating with tables n chairs and also smaller private carpet area. Here is also a very beautiful and unique aquarium on the ground whilst you walk over it ~ kids were amazed. We ordered and received our food within 10 minutes. We sat upstairs were there are bigger private carpet areas to sit. We reserved this area a day before and there is a 2 hour limit to dine in the carpet area. The food was authentic and tasty, everything was fresh. We also ordered Sheeryakh afghani ice cream 🍦 it was very tasty indeed (the ice cream is made at the front of the restaurant). Average price of authentic afghani food, really enjoyed our time here. They have toilets, which were clean. The restaurant carpet area was regularly cleaned and hoovered after customers left.Finished the evening off with a nice cup of green tea with jaggery.4/5 highly recommended place 👌

Service with a smile! The service at this place is excellent. The food is amazing too, although as it's freshly prepared, it does take some time. Reasonably priced and good value for money. It does get very busy, so if you are going for a meal at busy times, you may have a wait.

It was my first time there the service is not that good. Our food arrived late and before us I heard 2 tables complaining about the lateness of the food as well. Now the food chapli kebab they serve should not be called chapli kebab. The spices of the kebab was missing the main ingredients of the chapli kebab and plus the kebab itself was to small to Called chapli kebab. Well that's not surprised as all of them is run by the Indians and they only have afgani chef. For the same price there are lots of different places In London that gives the chapli kebab and the tastes is way batter then this. As for the butter chicken it was definitely done In indian style as expected. Only thing we enjoyed was the ice cream and the tea they served.
