Went there for mothers day. Told when seated there were no prawns on the menu. This was disappointing as it was the 2nd time we've been there and told this. Rest of the food was otherwise good.

Been here a few times and had the set menu the past couple times. It was around £27 pp at the time, but this was last year so it could have gone up since then.I really enjoy it every time, the food is always great, really tasty. The atmosphere is great too, its lively, and the service/staff are wonderful. They don't let you bring your own drinks though (alchohol), you have to use their bar if you want to drink.I know they cater for parties and have a small hall too which I've heard good things of, but it is quite costly.. I think £36pp when we enquired in January 2022.

I booked the Mehfil hotel for a 1 night stay around 5 weeks ago for May this year, however I then received a rather short, blunt message from the hotel 2 weeks ago advising me that my hotel reservation had been cancelled and "sorry for any inconvenience". No reason for the cancellation was given on the message and it's only when I rang the hotel they reluctantly gave me a reason for them cancelling (which was due to a hotel refurb 'apparently').The ironic thing is that a family member had also booked the same hotel but for July this year, then guess what ... their reservation was cancelled also! But this time the reason for cancellation was due to "important guests staying".Seems to me clearly this hotels booking policy is a complete mess and very imcompitent. My advice would be to anyone wanting to book the Mehfil is to either:1. Avoid booking this hotel2. Book the hotel ... but also book a room at the Premier Inn just incase as a back up 😊👍

I have a nut allergy and while I cannot complain about nuts being on menus, most places will accommodate well and show me the allergens for each item. This restaurant chooses to have one menu which shows all items that are nut, dairy and gluten free, but it does not say which items have dairy and gluten, but don't have nuts. Staff asked me to only choose from that menu if I have an allergy, although that menu only contain around 7 items; including starters, mains, desserts, rice and breads. (In fact no breads at all were on the menu, presumably because they contain gluten, but if staff are to be believed, they also contain nuts).

We live nearby and decided to go for dinner with family. Honestly I was shocked nd really disappointed. The staff took so long to hand over the menu. Finally when I order fresh juice and they got me orange 🍊 juice from TESCO. I was disheartened and when the food came over it was small portion. Not warm enough, . I order paneer tikka masala and it was more like salad with paneer. I was struggling to get staff to come over and get it sorted, on other hand it’s overly priced. I wouldn’t recommend. Had worst experience. And please do a favour learn how to run this place.

I took my two children for lunch at the restaurant on Sunday the 7th o November. Francis the manager for the lunch service was very polite. My son has nut allergies and I was extremely grateful that they had a page of dishes that were free of nuts. The food was excellent and the service was great. I will definitely be bringing my children back there again soon

Brilliant place for Southall! The decor is modern and clean but could do with a refurbishment. The food is good and they have upped their game again after a slight dip few years ago. Will be visiting again for the legendary amritsari fish!
