A lovely family run restaurant, where we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious, and apparently before we arrived Paolo was doing card tricks with our family at the table. Will definitely be visiting again in the future!

What a lovely experience at Paolo's we where suppose to visit before lockdown. Then my sister suggested as not too far so we could have Proccesco, lovely warm welcome & food was yummy with warm bread, small bowl of spaghetti to start and my Veal as a main. What makes the restaurant is the staff, they are so polite & attentive and even gave me a free desert 4 my birthday. As we booked last minute.

Our second time there and again we are very happy. Delicious food and lovely staff. Highly recommend!

This is our local Italian which has been around for decades so it's obviously doing something right! The restaurant has the warmth and charm you would expect to find in an independent family run restaurant with the friendliest of owners and staff. The food has never let us down, it's simple, fresh and tasty... just how Italian food should be. I had my father's 90th birthday celebration there yesterday evening, we are a big family yet we were all looked after so well. If you've not been then you really must... the food is delicious.

I’m living in the area and went out for a casual lunch. Thought I’ll eat pre-made pasta. That wasn’t the case. Probably the best authentic italian food I’ve ever had in London. The mussels and clams pasta were cooked as they should be, with olive oil, parsley and white wine. Simply delicious!! I would grade them with 6* if possible. Totally exceeded my expectations

Booked a table by email a couple of days before as I was eating alone as was staying away on business.Paolo's is a cosy little restaurant.I ordered a medium rare fillet steak with pepper sauce, seasonal vegetables and side of mushrooms. The steak was cooked to perfection! It melted in my mouth and was very tasty! The vegetable side included roast potatoes, broccoli, peas and carrots which were still crunchy and not overcooked. The mushrooms were in fresh garlic butter and the portion was very generous.I was talking to all the staff in the restaurant as I was dining alone and Stef who owns the restaurant is a real character! He has plenty of friendly banter and was doing magic tricks with me & other customers. Great entertainment!!I couldn't decide what to have for dessert so I asked which they would recommend between the profiteroles and the Honeycomb chocolate cheesecake!Stef advised I try the cheesecake but he also gave me a profiterole aswell which I thought was nice of him. The cheesecake was out of this world and it's got to be the best cheesecake I have ever had in my entire life! Profiterole was also good.When I requested my bill, Stef asked if I would like to try lemoncello... which i did and it was certainly a nice night cap to end the evening.I have no hesitation in recommending Paolo's restaurant. If I'm in the area again I will certainly go back - thanks Stef
