We ordered from you again last night and was as always blown away by your beautiful food. Honestly the best curry I’ve eaten. 100% recommendations.

The best thing about this place is the beer and the staff... Food was substandard for me when I visited on a Thursday night.

Had a good night In Spice Magic tonight, the food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive which in many places is an issue. Would recommend def for a night curry if you're in the mood.

I use this place as my go-to Indian takeaway, although time have been tough meaning I've reduced the amount I used to order I can't fault these guys at all! Fantastic service, taste bud tantalising food at reasonable prices that doesn't compromise price for quality! The food it always hot and any requirements I have ever had has been met by the restaurant. Delivery has always been within the timeframe stated via there website which only charges 50p to place the order compared to the ridiculous Uber eats prices! When lockdown eases I will be trying there dine in menu as well but please support thes guys very nice and considerate people.

Spice magic reviewAvoid this restaurant! Please read before making a decision to go!!!!There are a number of issues that I need to express about this restaurant, as it was one of the worst experiences I have encountered. We were celebrating my mums birthday, but it was ruined by the experience.1. Slow service – we placed our starter order (only 4 dishes for a group of 8), it took them over an hour to serve. There was only 3 tables that they needed to serve, the rest of the restaurant was empty, so there was no excuse to have such a long wait. There was no apology or update throughout our wait.2. In restaurant service not a priority – there were a few deliveroo drivers who came to collect orders during our wait for our starters. Those seem to have been ready in no time, whilst the rest of the us had to wait. However, this also slowed down and a couple of the drivers drove away without their collection order.3. Portion sizes – when the food finally arrived, we were shocked with what we were paying for! For example, we ordered the chilli mogo priced at £4.25, what we got was around 5 chip cut mogo chips, and the rest was made up with Peppers and a bit of sauce. Shocked that they would even serve this!4. Misleading discount offer – When we booked online, we received a welcome discount offer of 50% off the food bill. All we had to do is print and show. We showed the waiter the discount offer, but he proceeded to argue with us stating that it should only be 30%. I explained that the discount that has been given to us is 50%. The waiter went back and forth several times speaking to the other waiter and then the owner on the phone, came back and stated that the manager said they can only give 30%. I said it wasn’t good enough and that he will have to speak to him again. He came back a final time and honored the discount, although still stressing it should have been 30%...5. Poor service – No service with a smile, no apology for the delay in food. We had to keep asking every so often what was happening with our order, at which point the waiter asked to be reminded what we ordered, baring in mind there were only 3 tables to serve, so couldn’t have been that difficult to remember. The finished starter plates sat on our table, there was no urgency to clear it up. You could also hear the chef shouting at the 2 waiters... Very professional!6. Poor taste – I was shocked with how poor the food tasted. It is supposed to be an Indian restaurant, but the food was Bland, a lack of spices. You could literally serve to food to a baby as there was no spice in the food.7. The last straw – We ordered our mains when our starters were served, as we thought we’d give them time to prepare. However, finished our starters and waited and waited and waited for our mains. Again, we had to chase them up. The waiter said he will check with the chef, he came back and stated it would take another 30mins at the minimum. We had already been waiting almost 1hour 30mins. I told them we were not waiting any longer and asked for the bill. We paid the bill and went to a restaurant called Montys which was 2mins away. The service was fantastic! Attentive, fast and a service with a smile. The moral of the story is, if the restaurant is empty at first glance, there is a very good reason for that.

I honestly feel cheated by their prices. They have not updated their online prices and don't warn you of this upon arrival. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing as the menu prices they keep in their restaurant are nearly 20% higher than online prices. The customer service is slow and uninterested. The fact that the food is tasty and well cooked seems irrelevant considering the pathetically small portions. The mains seem to be same size as sides or even smaller. I have spent a small fortune after taking my family out for a special occasion and we all felt hungry as soon as we finished our meals. I may as well have thrown the money in the bin. They won't be seeing me or my wallet again. Thanks for the miniature chocolates though.

We love Spice Magic in our house. The staff are so lovely and friendly. We enjoy eating in the restaurant or ordering a takeaway. It always arrives promptly even on the busier nights. I absolutely love the butter chicken but we often order a selection. Cannot recommend enough.
