The authentic pub atmosphere. Lovely venue, with friendly and courteous staff. Food was good and drinks bespoke, which was very much appreciated

Such a lovely atmosphere every time I visit. Drinks are reasonably priced as is the food and the food always fills the spot in my stomach. Familys welcome, even the furry kind.

Bit of a mixed back. Let's deal with the good first.Staff were friendly and helpful and the service was good.4 of us ate, 1 Sunday lunch, 1 fish and chips, 1 veggie option (forgotten what) and a burger and we were all quite happy.Venue was clean and well decorated and welcoming.Challenges:We were denied tasting the wine, which despite being available by the glass was deemed "too expensive to allow people to taste". The reverse therfore is that they are happy to take your money on expensive wine without knowing if it is any good or not. The white wine duly arrived and despite assurances that it would be cold, as it was coming up from the cellar, it was warm and I don't just mean a bit, but actually warm. So they store their "too expensive to taste" white wine in warm conditions 🤔.Gents toilets were ridiculous. Two toilets, 1 had no seat or toilet role, the other had both, but no lock on the door.Two sinks, 1 had two taps neither working (they spun around completely) and the other had 1 working tap.Now it could be that the above issues all occurred the day before and given the condition of the rest of the venue I am prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the wine issues were a joke and quite frankly not acceptable

One of the best pubs in Ealing with the best beer garden. Main menu food is OK, standard quality/taste but the Sunday lunch is great, especially the chicken.

Business very slow when we attended. Food was so so. Toilet access is not suitable for people with mobility issues, like my wife as facilities are in the basement and the access from the garden still requires people to walk down concrete steps from the ground floor. Heating was off so chilly.

Really nice pub for a sunny day. The garden is very big and there's some nice huts to sit in as well. There's an outdoor bar, and they've been managing social distancing very well so you feel safe there. There's also a good amount of parking in front
