First time visitor yesterday. Atmosphere was good. Music was great. Price of drinks ok. It was a shame that on leaving, one of the security team decided to manhandle a guest who had picked up his jacket and accidentally knocked over 2 or maybe 3 bottles that were on the table. The treatment of this man was disgusting. If it had been someone who had a temper or a weapon it would have been an even nastier end to the night. Security teams need to use their commonsense. If not able to do that, they should find other employment as unnecessary actions can make problems. I was told that the CCTV would be checked. As far as I know, the individual's details were not taken so will he receive an apology? Thank you to the witness that came forward. It's unfortunate that my review is based on the security but the experience routined the night.

Atmosphere was sickening. Looked quite dirty everywhere and cramped. Bathrooms were unbreathable. They gave half pints of birra beer but when I got another one the manager said they do not sell half pints, what? Really? Avoid this place at all costs, there are plenty of bars and pubs nearby - North Star, beerkat, sir Michael balcon, etc

Had a good time, great meal and excellent service. Good price for lamb shank too.

This was my first visit to this pub and visited during the week in the early afternoon. Only 3 other people in the place. Staff member was pleasant and welcoming.I have been past in the evenings and at weekends when it appears to be very busy both inside and outside in the front portico. However on first impressions I feel the pub needs an updat. The decoration is sad and dark and it doesn't really have a "theme".However it does seem to attract a crowd at certain times and does serve food.I wouldn't be tempted to return but if I happened to be passing I might pop in for a quick one.Just needs some TLC

family friendly, great hospitality and food was outstanding

Lacks ambience and warmth ( it’s literally cold inside) 15£ for a mojito and a double brandy and coke . I had 2 sips and it was finished due to filling the cup completely with ice , my friend wasn’t impressed with he’s double either 🤷🏻‍♀️

Very expensive drinks considering there's a Wetherspoon practically next door. Min unadvertised £5 entry after 9 pm on DJ nights (small dance floor) even though it is dead till 10:30 pm typically.

A simple tavern located in a modern building. Geared for the nightime and dancing. A selection of keg beers on offer but not a place for lovers of the cask. Plenty of food on offer and looks like it would fun for a party. Loads of outside seating. A welcoming place.
