The Swan in Ealing

The wife and I had a very romantic dinner here for Valentines night. The food is superb. I had the Venison and the wife had the ribeye, both were delicious. We followed this with a sticky toffee pudding and apple and mixed berry crumble, we left feeling very full and very satisfied. Staff are very friendly. Will definitely be coming back to try the Sunday roast.

By far the best pub I have been to. Period.Located in greeny Chiswick this local pub is very popular amongst the residents of Chiswick. A good pub attracts good regulars! The selection of beer is very good and they do a good gin cocktail.Drinks aside, the food is even better. I have sampled most things on the menu to date - note they change the menu and add new items every passing season! The chips and roast potatoes (Sundays only) are deep fried to perfection and are always hot, none of that cold soggy chips. Their pasta is very well made and the ragu is always 10/10; I recommend the wild boar pasta. In the summer they also serve one of the best paella in London.Definitely the pub to try if you live in Chiswick.

Sunday roast was great, both the pork and the beef options. Although the pork edged it. Sticky toffee pudding was also fantastic. Overall great atmosphere great food and friendly staff. Would recommend.

Excellent food, very generous portions, exciting menu, and it’s one of the friendliest Pubs I have been to. Had fabulous Pre Christmas family dinner, including a young child which was treated like a super star☺ . The staff are highly professionals, courteous and happy to please clients.

Do not waste your time and money here!!! I took my family there for my husband's birthday to treat us for a good dinner. It was a complete disappointment with a disaster dinner. They presented linguine with empty clams (maybe 4 in total), zero salt, zero taste. They offered fried calamari which were thin like paper and soaked in oil.. Revolting. Not to mention the milanese: the meat was not smelling nice. The rear garden was nice though.

I like this pub… but check your bill if you have table service. Went last night and the waitress added two extra pints to our bill. When paying another waitress arrived with the extra beers and the original waitress tried to send her away. All a bit awkward but clearly she knew what she’d done but was still happy for us to pay for the extra beers. Not sure if she was on the take, or if the management knows about it. Could be a genuine mistake that was badly handled but I will make sure I check the bill more thoroughly in future. This was the second time with the same waitress too… first time she charged for pints when halves were ordered.

Managed to catch the two day summer we had this year in the U.K. and decided to try The Swan on recommendations. Great service, food was incredibly good. Beer garden creates a good atmosphere. I would point out that you probably need to book in advance otherwise it gets full quickly and my 4* was due to the table we had in the garden was next to the bushes that needed a bit of a trim as they were overgrown onto the table and felt a little claustrophobic. Other than that this is a 5* all day long

Incredible food, personal service and a great selection of gins and wines! The head chef creates a varied menu each week and the food isn't your standard "pub food" but a wonderful gastro experience. Be sure to book ahead so as not to be disappointed! Only reason I gagd 4 stars (would do 4.5 if I could) was that the desserts could be slightly improved, but I'm just being picky as everything else is simply sublime.

Cozy pub with nice big garden and rustic decor.The food quality is far superior to the regular gastropub.Good choice of drinks and the staff were nice and attentive.Dogs are allowed too and smoking is permitted in the garden.We loved it!
