Nice interior. Food is ok. The sauces the food are served with have a sharp and vinegary after taste. The mixed grilled meat didn't have much flavour either.

A bit disappointed to be honest. Food was ok but staff were not interested in their customers. I had to repeat drink orders a number of times, and go to the bar to the bar a number of times to ask again for drinks whilst the waiting staff were socialising. There were 8 people and some of our table had turned up late which did not help, but one of the chefs nodded his head in disapproval more than once which made me feel uncomfortable and to be fair I should have said something. Then only seven meals turn up and the missing one was for the person who has a 60th birthday. Not sure if he is the owner but it looked and felt like their is no leadership or desire to be a great restaurant. They did not charge for the dish that turned up late and gave 3 deserts as complimentary. ( I did not ask for this) no one made an effort and that’s why things failed. Deep down they know this and hopefully my review will help with the changes that are needed.

2. Revisited second week in Feb 2022. Specifically booked for steak night Thursday having checked their website for details. Only alacarte menu offered up at the table and when questioned they advised no longer doing steak nights. Very disappointing. None the less they honoured the steak night deal with more limited options so that was acceptable. However they failed to bring cocktails which we ordered, and we gave up on that as they brought us our wine instead. Another disappointment was the taxi cab service, Greenfox, they use which sent a transit van! Also was told to wait in restaurant as cab driver would come and collect. After a 20 mins wait I ventured out of restaurant and approached a number of other cabs waiting, but headed back to restaurant as they were not for me. The driver of the van jumped out and called out to me saying he had been trying to attract my attention and was very irritated that I had not responded. I indicated that he was in a van and how was I to know he was the taxi service. He was then quite rude and I told him that I was unwilling to ride with him. I then called an uber myself and they were absolutely amazing ... Will definitely use uber from now on!! The evening at the restaurant was therefore somewhat disappointing overall.Will give them another chance to redeem themselves, because the food is generally very good, but do check out my comments below about the roulade.1. First time visit a week before Xmas, to the restaurant following a recommendation. Ambience was good considering it was lunch time, and servers were attentive but not obtrusive. Food was as good as expected apart from one of the desserts ... the roulade which frankly was inedible although it looked good on the plate. Will definitely visit again but possibly not bother with a third course.

I went here for my birthday celebration with my husband 14th January 2022. We were greeted by a lovely chap we believe to be the manager (Liam I think) and he showed us to our seat. We were served by a really friendly waitress named Liv and she was extremely helpful and polite. The presentation was absolutely beautiful, we ordered starters and mains. For starters we had delicious Calamari, halloumi and goats cheese and all dishes were presented to perfection. We ordered Steak for our main and I even requested a cheeky fried egg on the side which the chef happily arranged. The food was delicious and bursting with flavour, I would definitely recommend this beautiful restaurant to everyone! They also surprised me with a complimentary birthday dessert! It was the best brownie I have ever tasted. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, can't wait to re attend! :-)

Chose this place via Google review and I was not disappointed. Conveniently located near the station, was really easy to find. The staff here were friendly and very attentive, really felt like a valued customer although it was our first visit. The menu was simple but the food is done very well, presentation and taste exceeded our expectations. What made this place stand out for me, was the service, it was exceptional and I will definitely come back and bring others with me whne I do.

Great service, fantastic food. The Festive menu was really good value and they have a wide selection of drinks available. Lovely surprise birthday message on dessert plate for the birthday girl. Will definitely come back again!

This restaurant is absolutely one of the finest restaurants in the region. Always when I come there I am absolutely glad. They hold their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they serve. You surely will enjoy this this place. Very recommended.

Had an excellent dining experience last night, food was fantastic. I had pan fried duck for my main and it was cooked perfectly, well seasoned and a tasty dish. Also tried the rib eye steak which was tasty too and cooked as requested. Service was good, food was outstanding! Will be back!

The set menu was good value for money. Welcoming staff , right from the start, and were very accommodating and friendly . We had a little hiccup with our dessert but was sorted immediately. I will definitely try this place again and get in a more in-depth review about it

My wife and I went here for Sunday brunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a 3 month with a pushchair so they gave us a table with more space around it for the pushchair. The service was good with wait staff asking for drinks and taking our order. The chicken roast was very tasty as was the mushroom vol au vent. They do 2 courses for £25 or 3 courses for £30 which is worth it. There is also outdoor seating available which is nice if the weather is good, although they have a marquee but we sat inside Would totally recommend and go there again.
