Nice pub, delicious food and gorgeous atmosphere. Just food service is very late almost 40 min🙃. cashier informed in ordering time. Family friendly pub

Visited on the Spice Night (curry and a drink deal) - had the Katsu Curry which was great - served with wild rice and chips (great idea), the curry was tasty, and went down well with a beer. Tuesday evening was quiet, so food came up really quick.One of our party had the Salt Beef Burger which looked amazing, and was apparently delicious! You can get a deal on two pub 'classics' which makes it a good deal, so give the Crown a visit soon!

Today’s meal was a bit disappointing - the lamb shank was very tough (usually it’s tender and falls off the bone), the potatoes and cauliflower were hard/undercooked and the kitchen had run out of mint sauce!! We are regulars to this pub and hopefully the meal will be better next time 🙏🏼

Quite hard to find and there is no parking. We eventually found a spot to park in amongst the permit only bays and yellow lines that are everywhere!Once we had found it everything was lovely! There is a little water station inside for people and one outside for dogs! The staff were very helpful and service was very quick, so it's a great place to pop into for a quick lunch.The garden is huge and I'm sure is very popular in the summer.

Lovely, friendly local pub for us, a few new dishes on the menu, fish taco was light and fresh, good choice of classic dishes too. Nice cool beer and good service. Highly recommend

Had an enjoyable afternoon here a few times.The place is very cosy in the winter and the huge outdoor area makes it perfect in the summerI had a lovely gammon with egg and chips. Really fresh and cooked perfectlyNot only that but the value for money is incredible! They offer, 2 meals for less than £13 and there's a great choice.Friendly send helpful staff and a really relaxed atmosphereWill be going here again for sure

Lovely pub next to the river with delicious food, super friendly service and a beautiful atmosphere! The fireplace is beautiful!!! An amazing find for me and my family! Can’t wait for summer to try the beautiful garden !

Great service, nice and warm inside with fireplace. Order online for hassle free ordering. Sunday Lunch meal was well worth it. I had the lamb shank and definitely recommend it.

Visited today friendly staff lovely beer garden had a shared chicken platter for two and extra onions rings, tasty and great value. The sharing dessert was wonderful plenty for two. Speckled Hen was as close as possible to perfection. Well worth visiting
