Curry Queen in Enfield

Cuisine: Indian

"Curry Queen in Enfield has been around for nearly 30 years! YES! 30 years, we're proud to be serving the locals for that long. We're still the same people with the same chef. That means our chef has been cooking up Indian dishes for the Enfield locals for nearly 30 years too! Like they say you only get better with experience and that's exactly what we've been doing. Just ask the locals on our road."

New customers here as we HAD been going to the same Indian for around 20 years but the last couple of times it has been not nice at all… really gone down hill. So we tried curry queen… well….food arrived hot! Not tight on portions! Great quantity! Food tasted great! Quick delivery! And a big difference in price (curry queen being £10-£15 less that what we would of paid) than what we used to pay with our previous Indian that we used! All round great service Not one fault at all! Will be our new regular! Thanks for a lovely meal!

Still waiting for food…1 hour and 45mins past delivery time…poor communication…pathetic service…Update: food eventually arrived! Please don’t order tikka masala…it’s hard to describe…low quality tomato sauce with grated coconut and sugar…I think Resturant not run by Indians…stay away!!

Very tasty food and the staff is nice. I eat here often. I like Lamb Pathia with coconut rice. Good combination!

·

Awful. The food was bland and not tasty. They also overcharged me and did not give the 10% off discount for pick up. Will never go back.

The food arrived 45 minutes late. We were lied to repeatedly when we called the restaurant to enquire. The food eventually arrived just before 10pm. The fried food was cold and soggy. The other food was also barely luke warm and the containers had condensed. The rice was moldy and the Nan totally soggy and cold. Absolute disaster and a waste of money. Neither the restaurant or driver when he finally arrived ever apologised. A sorry excuse for a restaurant and an equally sorry reflection on some of its staff. Don't risk your evening and money. Try another Indian takeaway would be my advice.

WoW!!! Who Knew That This Little Gem Was Hiding Out Around Here!!!! Their Food Tastes More Like A Home Cooked Meal. If U Have Never Tried An India Before, Try The Tikka Range, In Any Of The Sauces, With Their Biryani And Or Pilau Rice And I Promise U, U Will Want To Try More From Their Menu. Enjoy 🤤🤤🤤

Disappointed in the quality of the food. The chicken tikka masala was basically a tomato puree sauce, packed full of sugar and a few chicken pieces. There were no flavourfulspices but only sweetened tomato. The cauliflower dish had no salt. The lamb was so tough it couldn't be chewed through. The tandoori nan left our hands red with all the food colouring. They really do love tomatoes as they were everywhere in big chunks. It looks like a dish bulker!I've not seen an Indian/Asian salad with chunky vegetables and lettuce cores. This is what you'd give to farm animals. If you want bland, tough and artificial food this is your place to be.
