Beautiful gardens that are well kept and visually stimulating if you like that kind of thing. Clear paths for buggies and pushchairs though a little narrow in places. Nice scene around the large pond with ducks. Free car park is a big bonus. Minus one star because we couldn't get into the cafe, only a few tables out despite lots of space available. Luckily we brought a picnic so didn't affect our stay too much. Lovely way to spend a warm day.

Lovely gardens and duck pond, great kids play area and little walks in the woods and around the grounds too. We missed the farm animals because it was very easy to spend lots of time there with the little ones. The cafe isn't living up to its potential in terms of how nice a place the courtyard (or inside when it reopens) is to sit in, the food on offer or the chilly service, but I'd recommend it for a family day out.

Worth the visit. The Forty Hall estate is free to visit. Ideal for families to visit the petting farm and the surrounding areas.

This was a lovely experience and a great place to go for a Sunday walk. There was lots of available parking too. The gardens are stunning and well kept. I particularly liked the cherry blossom trees were a particular delight. However just be aware that the cafe isn’t open all day on Sunday, so I’d recommend checking the opening times.

Lovely place to visit, huge grounds with a variety of fields and woods with many different signposted walks. Nice cafe at the main House, serving a variety of gluten free snacks

Stunning Forty Hall! Although the walk was very muddy! So be prepared to get mucky! Beautiful scenic walk and will definitely be back as 10 mins drive and great for parking and a lovely coffee!

A sprawling estate with a gift shop, gardens, a farmers market, a beautiful large park, a pond, and a lake with open air and woodland trails.

A hidden gem within surrounding North London suburbs, a lovely variety of walks that looks amazing through all seasons. The Hall itself is an interesting trip through its history. A nice flowered garden. Also close by to Crews Hill garden centres if you're making a day of it.I only stopped giving it 5 stars as the car park can get busy quickly on popular days and the tea room is over priced, but still highly recommended for a proper escape into covered woodland which feels somewhat mystical.
