The menu at the Moon is varied and the service is usually good. The food is normally of a good quality and the location is discreet. Some parking facilities are available. Toilet facilities are on site and there is disabled access at the back.

Great value for drinks and food. The staff are usually quite patient and fast. You get what you pay for. The only improvement I'd say is cleanliness of tables.

Popped in on the 30th March and it was a really disappointing visit. Not only has the cost of the breakfast and coffee gone up the food wasn't very good for once. The hash brown things were palid instead of crisp and deep fried, the scrambled eggs were stringy and the toast wasn't toasted. To their credit the staff are superb and if I hadn't been in a rush I'd have asked for it to be changed. Oh one word of warning. There is a truly terrifying two steps down INTO the place which even though there is a warning on the door doesn't prepare you. Take care! Overall a nice J.D. Wetterpants that was having an "Off Day".

Food was very good staff very helpful the only down side I would say it is looking a bit tired and needs a lick of paint.

Fast efficient service.... Was quite busy... Food prices are very competitive...

Food was passable nothing special to be honest, daughter got about 10 chips so please prepare yourself to moan about the portion size for the money... friendly staff mostly, clean and tidy. OK for a lunch out with your friends but you get what you pay for remember!!

Nice size pub with generally good atmosphere except a few drunkards hollering obscenities and grunt marred the experience. There was also a staff shortage in the kitchen but food came out impressively quick. The bacon was strangely tasteless in the breakfast ordered but the rest was good. I'll give it another chance at some point.

Surprisingly empty, food and drinks were ordered, food arrived, was very tasty. Wasn't told where the coffee machine was situated so walked around a bit to find it, would have asked the bar staff but they were both busy on their phones. Staff seemed like they didn't want to be there.

Beer great......food not so great! Yes, I know, we should've said something at the time, but the food was okay.....just not great! Pre-lockdown I remember saying to the manager one evening how great the food was....hot, freshly cooked (certainly looked like it), and served quickly. Last Friday's visit, the food seemed like it was kind of thrown together? My burger was a bit like a rustler's burger from a microwave, and my wife's mixed grill looked like it had seen too much of the grill!! Shame as the moon has always been our 'go to' for a drink, catch-up with friends, and some grub, but might give the grub a miss at the mo!

Staff were noticeably deflated in mood, managment to possibly give more incentives to help promote confidence and happier staff. Drinks menu was very low stocked. Food was okay.
