Skewd in Enfield

My partner’s favourite restaurant and would easily give it 5/5 if it was just for the meat options as it is faultless!The vegan/vegetarian menu however, is sadly really very poor which is disappointing as would expect restaurants to cater for all in this day and age and with this type of restaurant. So many of us avoid coming now with our meat eating friends because it’s so bad! Parmesan is not vegetarian FYI.Some good hot starter and substantial main meal options are desperately needed on the menu other than a plate of salad(even these aren’t vegan)!

Dinner tonight at Skewd was possibly the most flawless dining experience of my life. Absolutely pitch perfect service was coupled with utterly beautiful food, both visually and in flavour. The vibe in the restaurant is the perfect blend of cool decor and warm service. The attention and generosity of the staff make you feel like one of the family rather than a paying customer. Drinks were also on point as was the wonderful dessert. And the birthday treat was an added bonus. I cannot wait to return as soon as possible. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

A group of us wanted to dine out in a good restaurant, and this beautiful restaurant got recommend to us for its delicious food and great service. We booked a table in advance, as it does get really busy, and possibly you will not get a table by walking in at peak times. We went around 2030, and it was very busy with all tables occupied.It is conveniently located near Cockfosters station, with plenty of parking, free parking available after 1830.The decor is really nice, mixture of modern and European classic, with really nice canvasses all over the walls. Super clean, spacious, and you get a sense of warm and nostalgic feeling with the atmosphere, this is very rare. We were welcomed into the restaurant by the extremely friendly owner (I believe) and got taken to our table. From there on the waiting staff took over. I have to say, service wise, this was one of the best, professional and friendly, and most attention to detail service I have have had in a very long time. The staff were friendly, with a nice sense of humour, very diligent, and worked very professionally.For starters, we had Humous, Chicken Wings, Octopus, Calamari, and chef's special Burgers. All of the starters was amazingly delicious, particularly the burgers.For Mains, we had the 1kg Tomahawk Steak, sharing between 4 of us, and Rib Eye steak, with a mixture of sides, goodness, everything was cooked to perfection, and tasted amazing, possibly the best steaks I have ever had. I would recommend Tomahawk to anyone, please try it, you will not be disappointed.For Dessert we had selection pictured, with Turkish Tea and Coffee, absolutely loved it again, and cannot pick out one that is better then the other. Everything in this restaurant is of highest premium quality, the service and food are absolutely flawless. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.J!

This place never fails to please. Great service, delicious food and punchy cocktails. If only pictures could portray flavour! We had a great birthday meal, and would highly recommend.

Visited Skwed last night with friends, I have to saw one of the best Turkish restaurants I’ve ever visited. The food was superb, scallops were to die for. We chose the mixed grill , the lamb was perfectly pink and flavourful, Chicken so soft and perfectly cooked and the same can be said for the ribs.Some of the guests had allergies and the staff were superb accommodating the changes in the food.The restaurant has a superb buzz, loud and fun, I wouldn’t visit for a romantic occasion , more for friends and amazing food and drinks. I’m shocked I’ve not been there before - I can say we will be returning soon

Amazing food coupled with great service. Not your usual Turkish food, they have given each dish their own little twist, I'll be going back to try more items on their menu. Their spring roll under the starters was amazing, so gutted I didn't take a pic

Great experience, you feel like your in London but don't have to travel in to London when its on you door step. Everything about it the service the food the politeness as soon as you walk in the door is 8 star! I always get wage tomahawk and Lobster every time! I highly recommend 👌

Great service from Ilyas and the team. Quality cooked food, great choices and fantastic service. This is one of the best restaurants in North London. A little pricey but then you are paying for top quality. Will be back in the new year.

First impression was really good - they have nice interior design, bar and back kitchen. We ordered quite a few starters and one main to try, the presentation of the food was superb however everything (except for the chips) was simply too salty to eat. We didn’t order any alcoholic drink to accomplish with the food, but overall really disappointed after setting up high expectations from the ambiance as well as the food presentation. We were further disappointed by the lady who took our bill.

We started to order from Skewd since we moved to area this year. First it was great. But now the portions are getting smaller and the quality is getting low. First the salad we received was smelling/tasting very acidic (it was probably 48-72 hours old). Now, I order some chicken wings and the size of the wings are small. I always order kebab and chicken wings from restaurants, but this is the weirdest/smallest wings I had so far.
