Temptations in Enfield

The jerk chicken was not jerk at all. I ordered boneless chicken expecting boneless thighs chopped maybe, but they just tore off the meat from the bone. Not authentic tasting at all. Very disappointed

Food took ages to come then the rice was hard and dry and the curry chicken wasn't great but the stew chicken was actually really nice. Won't be ordering again. Portions were actually really small too.

Ordered cheesy beef patty - it was dry and barely had anything inside it. I ordered a large red peas soup and there was NO meat in there, only peas, the soup was even non existent. This was not real authentic Caribbean food I am so disappointed! Go to juss a cup for real Caribbean food

The portion size is very small for the money you ask,compared to brown eagle,juicy roots,peppers and spice.You need to up game and your portion size,and try wrapping it in clingfilm like all the others so you dont lose what little there is. Or lose customers remember without us your nothing. Value for for money not here its not,more a waste of money wont be using again..................

Ordered large curried goat meal. Was disappointed with the portion of goat. (A few small pieces of goat along with a few bones and the majority of the container was filled with gravy. Not woth money value. Tried to call number provided.. no answer. Food itself did not taste authentic. I would like to support the community, but for £12 i cannot afford to be disappointed again.

I totally disagree with those negative reveiws which seem bad minded. Me & my husband often cook authentic & excellent Caribbean food for dinner parties. When we are too busy to cook we always buy take away food from this establishment. We've been eating from them since they started out in Edmonton green several yeats ago & we find their food to be excellent. We've ordered a few times from their new shop in South rd and the food is still great and fresh. The reason why I give them 4 stars is they are typically very slow to deliver our orders. Also they often don't have some of the food on their menu. They could also improve their professionalism but all these things are unfortunately the same problem with the majority of Caribbean take aways & restaurants.

I ordered a chicken curry which was okay, However, the fish I ordered was so supposed to ba a large dinner but unfortunately very small. I was very disappointed, they need to be more generous!

Food is ok but they never have what I order and try to get around it with substitutes. They try to put the blame on you if you complain saying you should have checked and we tried to call you. By the way plain white rice is not a substitute for rice and peas.
