Went here last night for my sons birthday been here many times but sadly it’s gone downhill food was all over cooked and dry my drink was wrong and the waiter sniffed it Like he didn’t believe me no non alcoholic beers on the menu which my son Wanted not everyone wants soft drinks when I asked for non alcoholic lager the reply was we only buy one box a year and we have run out I think they need to move with the times and cater for everyone’s needs there is a shop up the road any decent place would have gone and got some I guess because they have there regular customers others don’t matter sadly won’t be going back too many other good places to eat that offer amazing service and value for money shame we use to love going to this place

I’ve been here a few times before and I think it’s going down hill food wise. The lamb was tough and fatty. Cockfosters has a lot of good food restaurants now (Skewd etc) so competition is tough but I think The Blue Olive is complacent as they get regular customers. Friendly staff but food is letting it down sadly.

Terrible food !!!!!The food was very bland and no seasoning at all. Restaurant was empty yet the service is very slow and food takes very long to be served. Food has no taste and when I asked for some lemon and olive oil the waitress was upset. They don't come to check on you to see if everything is ok. Bulgur was very old or made out of precooked package. I had a lamb kebab which was mostly fat and I requested something else and got the grilled seabream which had absolutely no taste and no seasoning. Their food is a shame to Greek cuisine. Horrible foodNo wonder the restaurant is empty.

We have absolutely love this place despite not being that local to us. The food tastes superb, the meat so tender and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff is second to none. They will go out their way to accommodate you. Also the vibe is perfect! It’s not pretentious, and doesn’t need to be. In my opinion, those places are always compromised somehow. This is definitely my favourite Greek Restaurant in London 😊

Lovely place, good food but getting to the point where it needs a redec. The gents were a bit smelly, the whole place felt as though it needs a woman's touch. Having said that I would go back. The sea bass was great.

Decor is lovely. Prices aren't crazy. Really good Greek food, and great staff too. Very safe, with plexiglass separating tables that are close to one another.

Loved the food. Staff was nice. But when I was waiting for alone waiting for my friends to arrive the water gave me a menu but didn't come back to take my order. So I could order only like a half hour later. Not like it was crowded and I couldn't be seen or anything. The drinks menu didn't have the coffee, hit chocolate etc. I think they were in the dessert menu.Any how I would definitely recommend and go back as the food was delicious.

I enjoyed the food very much, very fresh which was an absolute delight for me, my partner brought me here for a birthday meal, which turned into a surprise, as the waiter appeared with a birthday cake, I presumed another was also celebrating this day, but it was for me! So nicely doneI would highly recommend anyone to eat here, almost like being I Cyprus 🇨🇾The staff were lovely only one thing it was a little cold in there for me, but that’s not something that would stop me from returning. Beautiful restaurant, the food was perfect

Lovely atmosphere, staff and food. Had the meze and it was all so tender. Only thing I would say is food needed a bit of salt (I know this is preference) also the prawns were very soft but needed some sort of flavour - was hoping for a bit of garlic rather than just a cooked prawn. Again, very tender food just not as full of flavour as I would have hoped.Meze on the reasonable side and you do get a lot of food but drinks are quite expensive £6 for a large beer and £3 for a bottle of Coke - but that's Cockfosters I suppose. Desserts were lovely and the baklava was 10/10 - just very small. Will be back, but hoping there is a few more herbs and spices on the food.

Tried the fish meze at blue olive and it was great. You get quite a good selection of fish. My favourite items were octopus, swordfish and calamari. I visited when it was relatively empty at around 4pm (pre-dinner rush) and the service was good but service is expectedly slower during busier times, so definitely worth factoring.
