Cafe Raj in Greenwich

Went there after theatre for a quick dinner with an 83 year old lady. Enquired about a Raan for a bigger Christmas eve event. No. Briyani was an oily mess with scraps what tasted like dog food. Beer from tap watered down. Prawn puri. No. Just no. Agressive little waiter questioning me questioning a quistoinable bill. Not worth getting angry about. Got ripped off. Fine. Who wants to throw a scene in front of an 83 year woman after a good night. Never again.

Very tasty food and will even suggest meals that are not on the menu

The best place in Eltham without a doubt. Highly recommended and the food and service won't disappoint. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Had takeaway meal which was brought out by polite staff and was absolutely delicious

We dined in yesterday at Café Raj and had an incredible time! Food was delicious, staff was warm yet professional and knew their menu extensively. My favorite was the Korai chicken, our friend loved the brick oven grilled duck. We were not really impressed with the Rogan chicken, a bit too sweet for our taste but it was still alright. We were surprised it wasn't busy on a Sunday night! Definitely going back when we're in the area again to try the rest of the dishes!

I used to eat in this restaurant, food was acceptable, atmosphere was nice and it was local, today i purchased a takeway and it was just about the WORST indian food ive ever eaten, including from a jar, rang them and they accepted it wasnt great! offered to swap it over, but i pretty sure im not waiting around for a rogan that was basically tomato sauce with meat, and a sag that was just slosh. Ill never go anywhere near this place again and stick to blackheath from now on. Review : food was DISGUSTING 0 STARS.

Have eaten here a few times as I live local and it's usually ok, however all dishes seen to have changed, maybe a new chef. Bland and tasteless, Rogan sauce was like tomato puree, no spice, no flavour apart from tomato. Plenty of other Indian restaurants around so won't be back, sorry guys.

Excellet food and customer service, wouldnt recommend a better indian place than cafe raj...food up to excellent standard id travel to eat at cafe raj loved my visit at this indian, i just cant get takeaways from where i live or else this is my regular from now on great work atmosphere vibe at the premesis beautiful the fresh flowers boys always charming atmosphere for the ladies beautifully decorated cleanliness over 5star, keep it up lad's (PERFECTION)

I regularly order take away from this restaurant. They always have my order ready on time for collection! The food is delicious and staff are amazing to cater your needs if you need any changes in the curry.

Went in for a takeaway so cannot really comment on the service, guy who took my order was polite I guess got my order correct. Price is reasonable, looked cozy inside I’m asian and I like curry I had only one main dish and they did it very well so I’m looking forward to trying some more dishes I’m giving 4 stars for now. I will do a second review because I can’t tell if it’s a one off because with food places I’ve had loads of one hit wonders. So next time will be the real judgemet.
