Cafe Sol in Greenwich

I came with a group of my friends and they told us we can’t get in because they only allowed people on the guest list and I spoke with numerous people in the line and they were allowed in but we were denied entry. I am not one for assuming things but they seemed to fit a certain demographic of individuals and they were allowed in without any checks for guest list.

Popped in on the spur of the moment for lunch, they do a lunch special, a free bottle of beer or equivalent drink.we ordered fajitas, beef and chicken, food came up sizzling hot in about 15 minutes or so.Food was really good, as I'm so often disappointed with Mexican, but it was very tasty.Good service, great food. Will be back 👍

We had party with friends here.Staff was very kind from the moment of reservetion,through all party till bill.We was allowed to bring decorations and cake...great atmosphere.I missed a bit of crunchy tortillas and more spicy options but that's only me.Everyone was happy.

Last night was absolutely terrible from the Cafe Sol bouncers. I arrived at 10.55 for my booking at 11 with 15 friends and was not allowed in, completely ruining my birthday evening and leaving everyone with no where to go when we believed we had a booking. The bouncers were extremely rude and unfriendly.Please don’t accept bookings if they don’t mean anything as it was extremely disappointing. I had a booking confirmation email for 15 people at 11pm and the bouncers told me it was completely meaningless. The same thing happened to another friend. Will never be returning here.

Went in today for a quick lunch. Very disappointed. They didn’t have any chicken Nachos, so I ordered beef. Worst meal I’ve had from Cafe Sol and I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. Nachos tasted stale and the beef mix was stone cold.

The food was fine. Our waiter gave us lots of wrong information about drinks offers and menu options. Then the food was very late. We were then moved off our table early even though others were allowed to stay seated for much longer. It was also too cold in the venue for dining.My biggest , and most concerning, complaint was when our brown-skinned friend was thrown out for just dancing on the benches (around 1am), yet the white woman and white man dancing either side of him were let off...I won't be returning.

I had lunch here, it wasn’t too bad.Nice interior, simple but stylish for the type of venue.The staff were friendly and helpful.The food wasn’t what I remember it being like before the pandemic. The portions are smaller and there less ingredients. The quality was so so in comparison to how it was before.

Birthday meal with the hubby! The meal was ok, we had chicken wings for starters, 4 wings and a side salad. We would have liked a bigger portion.I had a rack ribs with chips and ordered a portion of rice.To drink we had a jug of sangria but to me the jug was filled with so much ice that the amount of actual drink was limited.It's a large restaurant with sitting area outside and in, with a private section.The customer service was good.

Cafe Sol is an authentic treat! It's spacious, got good food and good drinks.Few places I've been to make quesadillas as good. To be honest, it's the most proper and tastful one I've had in years.The drinks were reasonably prices, and they did do 2-4-1 which is always an extra treat.Will have to visit again to try out more food!

Cafe Sol is based in Clapham South. Went for small birthday dinner. I had BBQ burger with fires, one of my friend had swordfish and I can't remember what my friend had. The food was magnificent and drinks were amazing. It was a relax, chilled environment. I am aware they do a lunchtime special which I have never experienced but will give me reason to return.Casually dressed or dress up choice is yours. The staff are professional and very knowledgeable which is always great when deciding what to have to eat.
