This restaurant is my preferred one. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The team is very welcoming and the cuisine they place on your table is so flavorful. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent meal in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Excellent food quality and service.The curry chef deserves special recognition, as he is even willing to take off-menu requests, in my case a Phall curry cooked to perfection. Perfect heat with an explosion of flavour. Other phalls tend to sacrifice flavour, in my experience.The level of service and food quality is comparable to some of the best Indian restaurants in Brick Lane, in my opinion.Only negative would be insufficient advertising. I had lived nearby for one year without realising this Royal Rooster shop also did top-notch curries.If you're ever in Woolwich craving a curry, look no further.

Ordered a variety of starters. Except for the vegetable samosas, (which i am sure is bought not home made) EVERYTHING was under seasoned. Well cooked to be fair but no taste to the food at all! Will not be getting food from here again.

Cheap food, but you get what you pay for. Had the chicken patia and it was as hot as a madras. I like madras but I didn't order it. Rice appeared to be reheated and had hard lumps as if it had been microwaved too long. Both my fellow diner and I were up in the night with upset stomachs. No drinks licence either so had a warm coke with my meal. I won't be back and would recommend you find another place to enjoy your Indian fix.

The food here is somewhat below average. I do not recommend visiting this place, as the clientele can sometimes be quite rowdy.I was highly disappointed by the very pale imitation of a vindaloo that I ordered, so spice lovers are definitely advised to stay away. My partner was also disappointed by the onion bahjii.With all of this in mind, I do not recommend this place as either a restaurant or takeaway.

One of the best Indian Restaurants in London. Cosy. Romantic. Food tastes brilliant. Ask for what you want and they can custom cook just to your taste. Good menu with a full selection of mouth watering dishes and flavours.

Nice restaurant. The staff was really polite and helpful. Was expecting a little more from the biryani and lamb tikka was a little chewy. Loved the chicken tikka.

Came to Woolwich just for a day and was looking for a non-fast food place to have a dinner. And I was surprised at this place! Very calm, I believe, the majority of their clientele order food to deliver but all is very nice at theirs. The portions are filling, the quality is brilliant, samosas done with mouthwatering spicies. I just hope I'll get the chance to come back there again..very posiitive experience.

Arrived on time, both curry dishes were hot and tasted good. Naan bread was a little thin but that's our personal preference. Overall it was good value for money and would order again.
