Eltham Park South Cafe in Greenwich

A lovely cafe with a fab owner! Great selection of ice creams for the kids. Fantastic all year round with a selection of food and drinks that you would expect from a local park cafe, some previous reviews seems a bit harsh to me as this is not a 5 star restaurant, yes can get busy at peak times and in summer but this should be expected and any concerns staff are always happy to accommodate. The indoor section of this cafe is a great touch when the weather gets cold so definitely worth a visit :)

A nice cup of tea and a lovely jam scone sitting in the Park on a beautiful autumn afternoon. Nice friendly people served us and the bill was a lot less than expected. A good choice.

I love this Cafe the people are so friendly and helpful coffee/food is lovely. its brilliant where you can go for early morning coffee and pastry 8 am before work. Well done !

This is just ridiculous. Please give this place to someone with an idea how to run the cafe. They are taking orders one at the time and preparing food and drinks for each customer. How about ask people in the q if they will have drinks, kids going mental for ice creams etc… could be sorted easily.Plus, once you order you wait ridiculously long for portion of chips, they getting orders wrong and people really frustrated complaining about waiting 30-40 min - it’s just silly. Amazing potential and beautiful place though, great for dog lovers. Such a shame.

Basic food, not a pleasure to eat at all, although the setting is lovely. Staff also despondent and obviously not got their heart in it. If possible bring your own food to the park, the drinks are fine though. Table tops are gross with drink and food, there's no knowing if they are cleaned daily or accrue animal visits for leftovers during the night.

An excellent cafe with great selection of food and drinks! Would highly recommend to anyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall good place and will soon come again!

Such a shame as this used to be a great little cafe in a great spot. Not sure if it's under new management? expectation Vs reality on this Salted Caramel Frappe. I think it speaks for itself.*Edit in response*Glad it's still in the same hands and I have also felt the driver shortage at work. But you can't use that to excuse shoddy service.I ordered, paid, was asked if I wanted cream? Then this comes out and the guy says "sorry we are out of the ingredients". If he said that at the start, I wouldn't have ordered it and this review wouldn't be here.As a regular to EPS if I do come back, I'll make a point not to pay till my order is in hand.

Our Crafty Wizards love our local park cafe. We currently have an Easter Number hunt for children and families. We are going away 350 Cadburys Creme Eggs at Eltham Park South Cafe. The cafe has a range of drinks, ice cremes, sandwiches and more. Enjoy Eltham Park South field, tennis courts, table tennis and children's play park.

Cafe was great on a beautiful day and who doesn't relish a well prepared bacon sandwich? Custom was brisk and service well organised given covid restrictions.qà
