One of the few old school English place still around .. a true experience very democratic prices £5 for a sweet pie and a liquer or salty pie with a drink ...I love also the vintage interior a gem in London ! Rhubarb crumble and Apple pie top !Salty ones I love the steak pie and mash

Recommend if you’re trying mash & pie for the first time. I got the cheese and onion with gravy. Was a good size but lacked seasoning/salt for me. Good experience & friendly service.

Delicious. I can't wait to go back and try all the other flavours of pies. It's not expensive. And the staff were very friendly.Don't make the same mistake I made for dessert. I got the sticky toffee pudding. I should have gotten a crumble or a fruit pie or bread and butter pudding which are all handmade and it was even written on the specials board. But I chose 1 of the 2 desserts not handmade. It was okay the sticky toffee pudding. But I had buyers remorse. Ah well. Next time I go I'll definitely get a crumble or fruit pie.

First visit here can't believe what I have missed the last 10 years! 😱 Great place,quite busy managed to get a seat downstairs but there is more space upstairs. Toilets were upstairs. Great pie/mash & gravy. Will be back soon. 🥧🍽

After walking for hours in Greenwich visiting the Maritime Museum, Royal Observatory, and the Queen’s House, I stumbled upon this place while walking back to take the boat to Central London. So happy that I decided to stop by for a quick bite.Prices are beyond reasonable for London standards, and the staff is beyond friendly. I got the traditional pie and mash with liquor, and some tea… all for £5 too! The pie was very fresh, and I had never tried pie with liquor before, but really loved it. Would love to come here if I ever visit Greenwich again!

Fresh pies, good prices, I'll come back. Had the traditional pie and mash with liquor, wife had the lamb with gravy. I preferred the lamb with gravy as it was more meaty. Next time will try the other ones and will probably go for the gravy rather than the liquor though.

My gran always talked about pie mash and liquor so we decided to stop off here after it was recommended to us.Pies were lovely and great range of flavoursLiquor was lovely but gravy is slso an option if you prefer.Loved the history of the shop too

My first visit and most definitely not my last. Traditional mince pie, mash, gravy and cup of tea for £5.00, what is there not to like.I will try the liquor on my next visit, with vinegar and pepper!It's just nice to sit at a proper table, with china plate, cup and cutlery.Bon appetit 😊

Traditional East end pie and mash but with Vegan options as well! Love me a bit of pie and mash, this is what you expect, lovely inside, vinegar on the tables, good price for a filling meal (I had 2 pie, 1 mash). You can have gravy if you don't fancy liqour (but why would you?). Will definitely visit whenever I'm back in Greenwich. Thanks for allowing me to have the food of my childhood whilst being vegan.
