Gourmet Burger Kitchen Greenwich in Greenwich

The concept is tired. One has to order by app while waiting staff hand over Uber boxes. The tables are wobbly but of no interest to the staff. The place was cold and drafty due to the constant coming and going of takeaway collections. The white wine was served warm in a pot. Would not return.

So, GBK was the original burger chain and to be honest I thought it had been superceded. I don’t know if they have upped their game or it was always this good but just had the most fantastic burgers, one chicken one beef. Original turns out to be the best.

Great burgers, love that the fries are super thin, but I would recommend going for the garlic tater tots.

Very bad experience and even worse customer service (Thursday 30.09.21). What just happened 5min ago:1. We ordered 3 burgers and 3 fries2. 2 burgers were wrong (one of them not vegan) and one of the fries were missing.3. I called the restaurant and tell them.4. They blame it on Delivero mixing the order number5. I confirm that the order number is the correct, and that the item list we received with the burger bag contains all items.6. They blame it on delivero opening the bags and switching the burgers for fun from another order.7. I say that the sticker was sealed and he answers that it is easily removed.8. Never again

Good burgers, well made milk shakes. I like their Belgian chocolate ( also called double chocolate) milkshakes and Oreo milkshake. Nice and thick. I've gone in there a few times just for the shakes. Also impressed with their skinny fries.They used to do a jackfruit burger which was brilliant, i wish it was brought back into their offering. Easily accessible by public transport - both bus and tube. Also close to the ferry. However the place is a bit smaller and tables are closely crammed. Slightly less exciting than the other GBKs

Very nice place with great staff. We often go there. They have good vegan and vegetarian burgers, great sweet potato fries and lovely drinks “fresh&fizzy” 😁 At the moment menu is poorer, because of the pandemic, but it’s still worth going there!

The food is of a high standard as you would expect. A selection of burgers, mostly meat but some vegetarian and vegan options, are available along with sides, starters, drinks and desserts.The staff are friendly and helpful although they only act as servers, ordering of food needs to be done at the counter at the rear of the restaurant.The location is good, very close to any number of things you might want to explore in Greenwich before or after a meal here.

This is my second time visiting GBK and I had an excellent meal. Came with a group of 5 and the table service was so slick and quick! The food was spot on and the drinks were nice and cold. Everybody was satisfied. Will return in the later months!

Ordered the classic vegetable burger and the double beef patties burger. Service was excellent and prompt. Servers were quick and helpful, great experience.Food was authentic and fresh, and beef was asked and served well done.Really great lunch at GBK in Greenwich. Recommended for sure!
