Subway in Greenwich

Went in there today because I fancied a Italian herb and cheese sub, lady was slightly rude at the beginning because I accidentally said the wrong size. Went and sat down just near the till, my sister and I were peacefully eating when the lady pointed at me and my sister and said something to the guy that’s working with her look at us and began to laugh. This made us both feel uncomfortable. We both sat there for abit longer and I watched how a lady didn’t get served for about 10 mins. After awhile my sister said the lady served a customer, ate the CHEESE that she went to serve the customer with. Also as I’ve seen in other reviews that they don’t care about cross contamination, touched meat and then the cheese. Also one more thing they don’t put enough food in the sub only a tiny bit. I’m sorry but I’ve never been to a place where the person serving me ate the food in front of me, very unhygienic and not professional. Don’t want to be a Karen but I expected to go in to eat without being uncomfortable.

The prices have got stupid!! A 6 inch that used to be £3.40 is now £4.29!!! Plus they charged me £4.39 rather than £4.29 like they advertise!! I am not happy! I know it’s only £1 but that’s still a lot for a sandwich that has a stingy portion size. Outrageous! The staff also seem very under trained and clearly don’t know what they’re doing.

Woeful. Not sure what possessed me to go in, probably the memory of the Southwest sauce from my university days. Stood there for a few minutes waiting even though the shop was empty. Then when we got into it the server refused to make the sandwich the way I wanted. I left.Every time I’m tempted by the convenience I remind myself that their chicken came back from an independent test as 90% chicken. Subway took issue with this as it was lower than their rivals, so they retested themselves, with a result of something like 45% chicken.

Not a good branch, I have been using this branch for several years and it has slowly deteriorated. Probably not helped by the high staff turnover (I am served by new staff every month!).Issues:- Recently there hasn't been a full range of bread available, only a few varieties.- The staff touch the cheese with the same gloves they use for meat (not vegetarian friendly) or hygienic!- Subs are not assembled correctly, so fillings fall out or you get a bunch of the same veggies in one mouthful.- Staff are not as friendly as in the past, no smile or eye contact. Once I went in and the two girls were arguing with each other, and on another occasion laughing and squealing like school girls.

unhygienic the place was a total mess, there was food all over the tables and they looked like they had not been wiped down for months. Not only that, i am a vegetarian and when i went up to order they served the food so recklessly that they were getting bits of meat in the cheese food tray , which is absolutely disgusting, also staff ignore and don't listen they act like they are in another world. 1 star wish i could give 0.

A decent branch of the chain food wise, though when we went last Friday evening it did not really appear to have the number of staff needed for the number of customers. Having said that parts of downstairs look a bit empty now with the icecream section appearing to no longer be in use.The place is larger inside that it looks from the road as there is an upstairs seating area as well (closed in the evenings).The staff were quite friendly and quite helpful. At times they were very busy so had not cleared away the rubbish that people had left in the downstairs eating area.They did not have a working drinks machine so offered us bottle in place of vended drinks for the same price.The floor did not appear that clean, but maybe the staff were too busy and would do that later. To be honest it looks like it could do with a few pounds of investment as it does not look as clean and fresh as last time that I was in there. It could be a great place as just outside the DLR station.The food was nice and great value, but the place could perhaps do with a revamp and more staff at busy times. Also if they had stock of all bread types that would help.

The team member was preoccupied with something else while making our subs, abrupt without any manners and requires better training. They don't follow cross-contamination procedures (drop ham on the cheese etc.). I had to repeat myself multiple times when ordering my subs. The food preparation area and the seating area are exceptionally messy (we were unable to find a clean table to sit at). I would not recommend this branch of Subway to anyone.

I had the worst experience at subway, have been coming here from last 6 years but today was the worst, staff have no sense to talk to customers. I had voucher which someone used in morning but the same voucher she is not expecting from me. The card machine is not working and she tell me when I am about to pay, horrible experience.

One of the best fast food, subway. Nothing to complain about! Very quiet place.

Also in this restaurant I was served quickly and friendly, as in all other Subways I visited before. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The quality of the food was perfect. The prices are in the ratio better than in other fast food restaurants of the competitors! Since one can choose the individual ingredients for the sandwich I also prefer to eat there more often!
