The Coach and Horses in Greenwich

Was pretty disappointed with the Sunday Roast, gravy was overly salty, the veg had very little flavour and to me it seemed just boiled (the staff reassured me that it was firstly boiled then roasted but it really didn't seem to taste like it, and carrots were still hard and tasted watery).I appreciate that it was the end of the day, and that time is tight so roasting fully isn't always possible - but they should really consider changing their menu description as I felt like I'd been swindled a bit and false advertising is not a good look. Also it was £16-18 for a roast so for that price I would have expected the meal to be better than what I could accomplish at home. Yorkshire puds were good, and I enjoyed the veggie squash options. My partner had pork belly which was also okay BUT no apple sauce?! I am aware I sound like a Karen but I never complain about anything but we probably will never go back here. Nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly/helpful, no shade to them.

This place is the weirdest place on earth. I bought food from Greenwich market which they’re located in and then I bought a drink from them to drink in their terrace but they said I was not allowed to eat food they do not sell in their terrace .. but then I offered to buy their food but they insisted I still could not eat my food too? That is insanely ludicrous! And absolutely obnoxious.. we were the only black people there and I saw a white family walk in with their own food but they said nothing… yet they decided to treat us this way. Absolutely disgusting and the drinks are over priced.

Went for Sunday lunch and the staff were great. It was quite busy as you can imagine due to its proximity to the market but the team working there were on top form. We got the sharing cheese plate with soup of the day and vegan pasty which were all delicious. Great atmosphere as the beer garden is in the middle of the market.

Friendly and efficient bar run by all-female staff - they create a nice vibe. We sent back our pinot noir as it was corked. The manager exchanged it with no questions asked and the second glass was perfect - thank you! We didn't eat but the food looked very good. Will visit again when next in the area.

Been here a few times and for the quiz nights. It’s a nice enough pub and the manager is very nice. However the regulars here are very loud and intimidating which kind of puts me off wanting to go back.

Really nice bar right by Greenwich Market with a good atmosphere and outdoor as well as indoor area. Inside they had a nice cozy fire too. Drink selection was also good.

Lovely pub in the heart of Greenwich market. Great selection of beers and drinks, good staff and nice décor. Didn’t try the food but looked good from what i could see.

Nice pub for waiting as others search for treasures in the surrounding open market. This time we enjoyed it without crowds and with plenty of spaces in and out (sorry for the business, but a little pro of the travel restrictions that hopefully will be soon forgotten). Good variety of ales and kind staff. Next time we will check the food.

A super pub, nestled in the corner of Greenwich market, close to the Cutty Sark. A great selection of beers, both keg and cask. It's lively, it's cosmopolitan. The staff are helpful, polite and smiling. Perhaps pirates visit here every now and again to recount their tales of daring do out at sea before they landed back at Greenwich with a pirate ship moored on the Thames. It's that kind of a place, you wouldn't be surprised to see Blackbeard at the bar! There is a great market adjacent too so the place makes a great partner crèche for the one who does not want the random retail experience. A great pub, worth a visit. I recommend!
