A lovely little shop in London serving fresh Fish and chips. The touristy nature of the place has died down a bit mercifully. We got there around lunch and were expecting a line out the door but we were the only people there, which was nice. Will likely change as we return to pre-pandemic levels.Fish was honestly fantastic, by far and away some of the best fish I've had. And their fresh Tartar sauce was amazing. The rest though.......was not great. Had mushy peas that were grainy and lacking in any flavor. Even after a fair amount of salt and pepper the only thing I could taste was just salt and pepper. And the chips were an embarrassment: tasteless, powdery and oily all at the same. Tasted like McCain's awful frozen thick cut chips.Overall it was well worth the trip, but next time I'll just be ordering the fish on it's own. Would highly recommend!

One of the best food places that I visited in London. The personnel (young guy) is excelent, very helpful and kind. The food was also very tasty and not pricey at all. Highly recommend to visit it🙂

Super friendly owner and staff. The owner popped round to ask us how we enjoyed the food. Corner shop chippy, had 3 tables inside and a few additional ones outside. Crispy fish and chips, delicious. Ordered standard size rock and chips, it came with salad was definitely plenty enough, had tartar sauce with it, the rock had a fish cartilage which I originally thought was bone, tried it after owner said it was edible. Was even offered more chips. Friend had cod and chips. The rock was better, less fishy, more delicate flavours. Don't live in the area, picked it based on reviews and it didn't disappoint. And it also had a small toilet available to use which was clean and tidy.

This was my first experience eating fish and chips in UK, It was really nice.I ordered large Cod fish. The staff is very welcoming and polite. The owner of the shop is also very caring, he came to me and asked how is the food, and even offered me to give extra chips.Loved the experience.

Batter is visibility crispy.Flaky, soft, melt-in-the-mouth fish. The contrasted textures between batter and fish are good. The cod is too mild tho, I should have order haddock..Also, it is a little bit pricy. It is ÂŁ12.5 for standard size cod, chips and salad deal. Extra ÂŁ1.7 for mushy peas. The fish looks big tho.I just feel there is something fishy after knowing the price was ÂŁ10 for the same deal one month ago.

Had the haddock for myself, while my partner had the southern fried chicken. The haddock was amazing - the batter was light and fluffy and the fish was moist and flakey. The southern fried chicken was wonderful too - flavourful and moist. The staff are incredible friendly, checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure we’re doing alright. The chef came out to speak to us as well and check in on the food. The place is just extremely cosy.

From far best fish and chip I ever had. And the service spot on. Us clueless about fish, the waiter explained to us what is what and the taste. Just amazing overall!

Fresh, delicious food with a friendly atmosphere.I have nothing but good things to say about this amazing little restaurant. Our fish and chips was cooked fresh to order and came out piping hot. Batter was crispy and the side salad was deliciously fresh, with mint and coriander added into it.The owners were so friendly and welcoming. Big smiles when we arrived and throughout our stay.Seating inside as well as outside under an awning. Take away available as well. We’ll definitely visit again!!

What a wonderful fish and chip shop. My wife and I ate in the shop at one of the tables they have inside. We both ordered halibut, chips and mushy peas, which came with a lovely crisp mixed salad. The halibut was a generous portion, very fresh and beautifully cooked with just the right amount of batter. The chips crisp on the outside and fluffy inside and the peas just how you want mushy peas to be. The atmosphere in the shop is very friendly and the service top notch. I cannot recommend this shop enough, a local business selling top notch food to eat in or take away at prices that don't break the bank. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

This place didn’t fail my expectations at all!It exceeded them! The fish was buttery and moist on the inside, flaky and crispy on the outside. We had the cod and the halibut and they’re both very very good. The fries were perfect and did not smell like fish, which is really amazing to me. This also comes with a side salad which is very delicious and crunchy.Definitely recommended, and will definitely come back!
