The Jasmine in Greenwich

I’m not one for writing reviews but I believe one is deserved in this case.Me and my partner visited for the first time since lockdown. Even after 2 years the owner remember our names, the fact my partner is vegan and even a special starter he made for her last time we dined. To say we was impressed would be a understatement.I’ve never been to a restaurant of any type where you can tell the owner what flavours your fancying and he’ll make a dish that resembles that. He made my partner a jackfruit curry which she said was the best she’s ever tried and I don’t even know what it was he made me but it was amazing and like nothing I’ve ever had before.Honestly I’ve never met a single person more knowledgeable and passionate about his food in my life. Before the food even arrived the restaurant deserved a 5 star rating. The staff were lovely and the food is faultless. We will never use a different Indian restaurant.Thank you for our dinner and we look forward to coming again soon.

Checked out this place after reading the good reviews and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The host was exceptionally hospitable and taken time to assist in finding a dish that was to our tastes. All of the food was tasty and the portion size was excellent with very affordable prices with enough to take home with you. As the food is made to order it does take a bit longer to cook so worth setting a couple hours aside to eat here. If you attend Wednesday-Saturday it’s definitely worth booking ahead as the host explains it gets busy on these days.

We regularly order takeaway from here and it is hands down the best curry we have had in the area.It is usually a long wait for food but this is because they cook every dish to order, so it is well worth the wait. Everything tastes really fresh and delicious and they don’t use ghee which means it is not as greasy as other curry places. Since every dish is cooked fresh they are also very flexible at adapting items to suit dietary needs such as vegan.We have also eaten in the restaurant and it was a great experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always happy to recommend dishes and checking that you are enjoying everything. They also gave us quite a few free dishes to try which was much appreciated and meant that we got to try some tasty food that we otherwise might not have ordered. The portions are extremely generous and we ended up with plenty of food to take home with us, which ended up being enough to enjoy over the following two days!A really great restaurant and takeaway that I would highly recommend.

Visited for a second time and found the experience as good as the first. They have an interesting menu with the normal traditional Indian dishes plus a further listing of other dishes. On both occasions we asked the owner to make us something off menu that he obliged. Well the food was lovely and the right amount of spice. All in all we will be back for me.

The Jasmine is a kind of place you'll not often find. It's quite small and perhaps underwhelming, upon entry, but grand and elegant once you begin your experience .The quality of the food and presentation strives to be of the highest class and the atmosphere is close and personal.Originality and creativity is what lies at the heart of the menu and the devil is in the detail.From the sumptuous char grilled tikka, with a sublime dressing, to the freshly cooked breads through a myriad of coloured, wholly flavoursome dishes it genuinely is a true pearl, in the oyster of Bexleyheath.If you like big, open dining with grandeur and a pricey wine list then perhaps this isn't your thing, but, if like many of us you enjoy superb food within a convivial atmosphere then I'll definitely recommend it to you !

We only order takeaways but have got to say we have tried a few but the Jasmine beat them all by miles. Everything is cooked from fresh so the wait is maybe a little longer but you certainly won't be disappointed. My preference has always been chinese but not anymore. Brilliant food and service.

We had our wedding reception at The Jasmine last week. Elin arranged the menu and the reception both personally and professionally. He spoke with each guest in turn to determine their tastes and spice preferences. He was outstanding as a host and the food was delicious . Everyone agreed they had an amazing evening and would definitely returnA huge thank to The Jasmine for providing a delicious end to our perfect day.

We visited The Jasmine twice now and enjoyed the experience both times. The food was delicious (the special Nouv-Oh menu is so creative and refreshing) and the service was exceptionally attentive. The staff really make an effort to make your dining experience stand out and they seem to truly care about their customers (even greeting you by your name). Will definitely come back.

My partner and I were here this evening. It was our 12 year anniversary (we didn’t tell the staff). And only the 2nd time we had eaten out alone since before Covid as we have a baby.Hands down amazing food. You can taste the effort going into every dish. The staff are incredible, so friendly, checking on you, also checking if you like the flavour etc. You can see they want to service their customer but also love what they are offering.We loved every bite! We will be returning with friends and family and our toddler!We were treated amazingly. They didn’t know it was a special day for us so it shows this is their normal level of food and service!

Beautiful & delicious food. Lovely atmosphere, made even better by the friendly & welcoming chef/manager, who couldn't do enough for all 13 of us. Highly recommend. Wish I had taken more photos of our food!
