Nice pub, great staff but the smell inside was like drains and toilets on a bad day. Needed a bit of a clean, window sills were bit grubby and so was the floor. While inside a good few customers walked in and walked straight back out.

Web site says it closes at 11pm but walked in at 8.15pm to be told they were closed! Could be such a good pub but they are hardly ever open

Marvellous venue with great management and staff..... and a chess club every Sunday noon till 4.30pm... Greenwich Peninsula Chess.

Great atmosphere. The beer was very good, and the fish and chips was tasty - mind you, the fish is quite a big portion.

The service was quick. I had a fish and chips. Its batter was light. But the fish wasn't flakey as good fish and chips should be.

Best place to have drinks in cutty sark. If you looking to drink at oldest pubs in london this is best place. Staff friendly and ambience is excellent.

Possibly a nice pub near the tourist hub with a reasonable selection of draught and keg beers, but we didn't stay long enough to find out. We sat down with our drinks and were contemplating the food menu when some street 'musician' started beating on his drum across the street. So loud and he played without pause for at least 45 mins. Although we were inside and across the street it was hard to hold a conversation. Gosh, but they really like their jungle drums in Greenwich. Anyway, we gave up and left to find somewhere quieter for lunch (though with little success as it eventuates - but thereby hangs another tale). The Borough should really consider a local ordinance restricting the decibels of these so-called 'musicians'.

Local feel pub in the centre of Greenwich. More reasonable prices than the other local pubs and very friendly staff. It's small but has two fireplaces in each part of the pub. Worth a visit if you're looking for a quick drink or pint with a newspaper.
