Yacht in Greenwich

Haven't been here since long before first lockdown..... Will definitely be returning ⭐ not only do you get great drink & wine choices at great prices for Greenwich, but a wonderful view and comfortable seats! The gentleman serving us was friendly and helpful, we ordered food and were very happy with it, the Mac and Cheese was amazing, it came with a side salad & garlic ciabatta which were fresh and delicious. My partner had the bacon and cheese burger 🍔 which he said was extremely good and cooked perfectly!

Really nice people, good service. A bar with some history, built on the meridian.

Riverside pub with food (Greene King, so standard fayre) and some tables overlooking the Thames. On this visit 12/3/22 the staff were great, still ensuring tables were cleaned between customers and being friendly to all. The IPA was good and the lager lively, but poured to ensure the full measure. It's a much better alternative to a pub further along the alley.

Had a lovely roast today by the Riverside. Would definitely recommend visiting if in the area.

Lovely little gem tucked between the Trafalgar and The Cutty Sark pub. It's got great views of the River Thames too. Good range of beers and Sunday roast looked huge. Definitely book in advance for weekends.

We visited this pub during a weekday night out and found the place fantastic.The decor and overall ambience of The Yacht is very characteristic and pleasant. The river view makes the experience even more special.The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They were even happy to prepare a meal in the last minute before the kitchen closing time..The steak skewer that we ordered was delicious and well presented. The portion was pretty generous as well.Would definitely recommend

Loved this place. Landlady wonderful. Staff very accommodating. Food excellent. Wish they did b&b, we'd be there once a month! Which is a bit of a trek from Cornwall

What a great place!Made a reservation and ended up with a lovely table by the window. The customer service was brilliant, we spoke to about 4 members of staff when we visited, and all were just lovely and so helpful and friendly.We ordered food, again, that was great too! Piping hot and really tasty. Would we visit again? Oh yes indeedy.

Great service with good atmosphere.Sunday Roast was ok, nothing special. Chicken was nicely cooked but the Beef was abit chewy and the Yorkshire Pudding was burnt.Fish & Chip was also ok, the fish was a little bland but nicely cooked, cripsy batter and fish was really soft - comes with a super tasty Curry Sauce!!

So this day I decided to try out The Yacht, which is probably one of the lesser known boozers in the area. It’s located down a narrow side street and sits next door to the imposing Trafalgar Tavern. On first impressions from the outside you would think this pub is going to be a bit snug but it’s not, it’s a bit of a Tardis. As you walk inside the pub you realise the pub is a good size and bright and airy with some nautical memorabilia dotted around the walls. The big selling point of this pub is the view out the window, you get a great panoramic view across the Thames of Canary Wharf and the O2. Price wise, The Yacht is above average for a pint of lager which is understandable considering the tourist trade that comes through the door but reasonable on food prices. If you like your sport, there are TV’s showing both BT and Sky Sports if you want to catch a game..The Yacht is a steady boozer offering a traditional pub experience.
